Please my Radius seems dead.

I just bought this baby and I hope I am missing something because I have no light from it [emoji26] Bought 2nd hand and just changed battery now it won't power up at all. Is there a secret,does it need me to wake it up? Battery is good,radius plays dead. Help me,I am soooo sad after wanting it for so long thinking we would be together a very long time [emoji26]

Hey Breezy Dawn, I don't know the radius well, but I think there is still someone at Provape willing to do repairs. Since you bought it used, it may well be something going on with the mod. I believe there's an email address you can contact someone to set up repairs, if it comes down to it. I'm sure someone will be along with that contact information (I forget which thread I read it in) and there may be folks who can trouble shoot as well. I'm sorry to hear about your purchasing experience and I hope you can get it resolved. If it needs repair, I'd probably do it soon if you can, since I'm not sure how long that support is going to be around.

Did you try to put the old battery back in and see what it does? Is the Battery in backwards? Sorry, I had to ask.

Its not backwards and i did try the dead battery and then plugged in usb but nothing. The "dead" wasnt all the way dead either so i think it would have given at least a blink.

Do you get any lights at all on the screen with just the battery installed when you hit the power button? I've had darkness if I install the battery upside down.

Breezy Dawn if you used a site like Ebay to get it, if you used paypal, you may be able to open a dispute with the seller and request that they pay those charges. They may refuse, but it's at least an option. I'm sorry you are dealing with this. If you can't afford to repair it, I might look into returning it, too.

I resisted buying it from Ebay to avoid a bum deal. Another typical day in "Wendy's world". Oh my real name is Wendy and that's been kinda my thing forever for reasons just like this!

I bought in a forum so could not test it,my mistake. I have not contacted only because i hoped i would find out it was me and not the Radius. Thought maybe just maybe there was some trick that i was missing.

I so thought someone was going to have a fix,if not i imagine i am going to be stuck here. Very hard lesson learned for something i couldnt afford in the first place. I should have not done it against my gut telling me no.

Hold down all Three buttons at the same time.

It will say on the screen if OFF is selected.

It takes some time to come up on the screen.

The one I checked out...to me the battery door was really tough to get on and snug...it's something to check

What batteries are you using?
Name brand & any letters/numbers to help identify.
Do you have a stand alone / exterior charger?
Could be the mini USB in the radius is boogered or the cable is no good.
Do you have a way to test the battery voltage?
Is the brass colored negative 'puck' & wire intact?
