I use them in my SVD which is a regulated VV/VW mod, wouldn't suggest it in a mech though. Think it peaks at 10Amps but its continuous drain is 5Amps, with 2600mah capacity. In general ICR style batteries are not good for mech mods, your better off looking at the 1500-1600mah MNKE (Orange Battery), AW IMR 1500mah (Red Battery), or the new 30Amp Sony's that are hitting the market right now.

R-lsales Samsung INR18650-20R vs FT Sony 10A 18650
Samsung 20R 18650 about 4 days old.
Sony 10A 18650 about 2 weeks old.

Atty is Trident 0.6 ohm quad coil.
Device is china junk with hot spring.

Voltage with 0.6 ohm load:
Samsung 20R = 3.86v
Sony 10A = 3.65v

No load voltage after load test:
Samsung 20R = 4.2v
Sony 10A = 4.19 v

Voltage drop:
Samsung 20R = 0.34v
Sony 10A = 0.54V

The Samsung 20R performs well from 1 amp to sub-ohm high amps; nice batt.

Believe the 2000mah AW IMR is like 10amp continuous, 15 or 20 amp burst peak output where 1500mah is 15 or 20 amp continuous with a 20 or 30 amp burst peak. There are several things I don't have the picture of about your setup. My mechs I generally use for dripping, rebuilding, and dry firing attys. Lowest ohm device I put on them is my Igo-W which has a dual coil, 32ga (iTeo Nano Dragon Coil config) with 4 wires in parrallel (2 wires per coil (not Twisted)), at 0.65ohms. At say fair voltage output of 3.9 most of the battery charge that is 6amps @ 23.4 watts output I am asking out of a battery. I do own the same AW IMRs and that battery has almost double my amp requirement to fire that Igo-W.

Now another configuration, dry firing my Protank heads clean at 1.5ohms, I ask 2.6 amps output, there the Samsung would be all I would need to run my Protank. It's not that those Samsungs can't be used, most people using mechs that I encounter are sub-ohming on a RDA/RBA/RTA device.

This depends upon what you plan to put on the mechanical. If using simple factory made attachments (clearomizers or cartotanks) this battery can be used.

This battery is ICR chemistry, so any high drain application is not advised. Not to be used in a regulated mod, mechanical mod using a Kick, or an RBA/RDA. An IMR or hybrid battery is required for these applications. If doing sub-ohm coils less than 0.8 ohm, a battery that has an amp limit of OVER 10 amps is needed.

Since IMR & hybrid batteries are "high drain" and also "safe chemistry", there is really no reason to use a protected ICR battery any longer. Higher mAh ratings are not so important for mods, safe chemistry and higher amp limits are more important from a safety perspective.

IMR & hybrid "high drain" batteries:

Awesome guys! thank you! especially for that list gonna save this one....
I use a dripper with Twisted 33awg dual coil @ 1 Ohm ... dont want to go lower on this setup as I use 350 alot .. never tried to go lower than that. I'm kinda new to all this mech mods, batteries etc. just learning and want to be safe. Use to drip for years on eGo with 510 atty... now I vape 6mg nic sometimes lower, instead of 24mg... so no way I'm going back from a mechanical, I guess :)

Isn't a regulated device "safer" than a mech? Why would this battery be okay in a mech but not regulated, if a factory product like a clearo or carto were used in both?

A friend at work came in today with a pink samsung ICR battery in his brand new Innokin itaste 134 with an iclear 30s on top. Previously, I told him to make sure he got an IMR battery and gave him a short list of good batts and rtd vapor's website, but he just went and ordered the most expensive battery from whatever site he ordered from listed. I'm not sure what to tell him.
