npMade it with 24 GA Kanthal wire and it works. Once reducer is in the air channel you have to turn it against the coiling direction to secure. It will sit tight but you can still pull it out if needed.

Yes I tilt. Have tried vaping it standing on my head. I had issues with it vapor locking. If i pop the cap off its wicks again. Recently drilled 1/16 inch hole in air slot to prevent vapor lock.
