Made it with 24 GA Kanthal wire and it works. Once reducer is in the air channel you have to turn it against the coiling direction to secure. It will sit tight but you can still pull it out if needed.
The draw is very restricted now and the flavour is even better. Thanks for the tip, batteredwombat

Great! Been laying low on buying new tanks because at the moment, I'm.....(dare I say, content) on what I have. Plus I've been going a lil mech loony.
Have you seen the new mech's from Geekvape? I like the copper with resin one. Fasttech has a preorder. Cvapor has the Black Ring Plus (brass) only $29 free shipping. Tempting :D

I usually go for parallel box mechs, but have a few tubes. This came last week.

A: make sure the cotton isn't too tight going through the coil
B: make sure to fluff the ends out before putting them in the holes
C: check the wicking action after you are done, make sure to tilt it with the fill holes up

Usually if its having trouble wicking it's usually due to the cotton being too compressed somewhere

Yes I tilt. Have tried vaping it standing on my head. I had issues with it vapor locking. If i pop the cap off its wicks again. Recently drilled 1/16 inch hole in air slot to prevent vapor lock.

Do any of you vape it on temperature control?

Are you using the Serpent RDTA or the Serpent RTA?

I run a SS316L fused clapton in mine on the Pico in TC mode.

Haven't had a build in it long enough to gunk it up. I have tried 32 ga vertibraid, fused claptons, claptons, short wicks, long wicks, regular wire, wick so loose i could blow it through the coil, wicks so tight they move the coil, and everything in between. Absolutely no gunking. However, I am about 1 build away from bouncing it off the driveway into the neighbors yard.
Once again. No gunking issues with 120ml pulled through each build.
