Yep, 100% positive my leaking problem was because the chimney o-ring got separated when I changed from the quad coil to the rba. I just found it in the kitchen sink. Luckily, I hadn't cooked since changing. I would have definitely lost it had I cooked. Lol

Easy done, that O ring comes off very easy, in fact all the O rings suck on this tank.

Talking of O rings, I've noticed the bottom O ring is wearing already, new, the SMOK and TFV4 logos used to line up perfect when you screwed it together but because the O ring is that cheaply made, the SMOK is half way around the tank now because you have to screw it more to get a good seal as the O ring has squashed. I'll give it a month and I'm betting the leaking will start and it will need replacing....again.

Something else I've noticed this morning, no long does the top snap shut, it has already started to wear, when you close it on the hinge, where the metal meets doesn't stay shut like it used to, I wouldn't mind but the tank isn't that old. Once that starts to wear, it's not going to seal the top properly and I have had to use the SMOK vape band to secure the top, that explains why they ship with those then, it's not a kind gesture, it's a necessity. Metal rubbing on metal, one thing is going to happen, the metal will wear and that's exactly what has happened. To make it worse, the tank looks ugly with that thick band on it too and it's not as if you can put a normal vape band on because of the extra width of the tank, it stretches the band to much and doesn't look right.. These are not the kind of problems I expect from a tank that is a week old (my fiirst one was stolen)
It's surprising that these small issues can really mess up the tank because apart from that it is a great vape..

Nobody should complain about how much juice it uses either as we are all to blame, what I mean is and somebody mentioned it before, we have all pushed the industry for more clouds, more flavour bigger better tanks and after using the TFV4 I think we have gone too far, more power is not the future of vaping. Yes the flavour is incredible but I used 60ml of juice yesterday, that is ridiculous. I still say the Crown should be the limit of sub ohm vaping, yeah you can use the rba but a lot of us don't or just cba or don't have the time ect.. I'm after a cool tasty vape at 60w, maybe the Crown is the tank I have been looking for, which would be ironic as I have avoided it for months just due to the fact of having a Starre tank. Talking of the Starre, I vaped on it today and the flavour was terrible, I'm in a tank dilemma....ah I dunno, maybe I'm asking for to much or I'm too much of a perfectionist..
@Drift Monkey, a carbon wrap on the SnowWolf solves all fingerprint issues..Jwraps are awesome.. You could just apply it to the sides and leave the metal as it is too..

In a first step it would be great if they would 1) add some spare orings to the package like 99% of the other manufacturers do and 2) add them for sale somewhere.

Great tank, bad orings, bad drip tip fitting and the top cap is nice but lets see how long it does hold up.
I don't think that's good enough, the O rings are terrible quality, I'm not after replacement O rings, I have a complete set of them, I'm after some new, revised ones of better quality, I mean, it can't cost that much more surely.

Did some more research and have not found one single place to get spare o-rings. So if I break one I can throw away the tank? :) I need to measure all the o-rings and buy them myself... Thats close to a deal breaker with this tank.
Yes you can't buy them, I had my suppler strip a tank and send them me...but the only other way is to buy another TFV4.

Feel my pain: I have the smok tvf4 and my strongest mod is a 60W SXK Nebula haha... IPV4S, IPV3LI still on the way (and 2x DNA200 in preorder)
TFV4 and 60w max , I feel your pain.. I know what's going to happen, my Crown tank, my Capella flavours and the Segelei are all going to come together tomorrow..Always happens

I guess I'm going to hold off on getting this tank then. It's a shame because it sounds like it's a decent design hampered by cheap soft parts. My first tank was a micro GDC and I still like it better than the Nautilus. My TCT is great, my favorite of all my atty's. It sounds like they need to throw better seals in it and ditch the top fill fad. I hate all the top fill tanks I've had in my hands, they all seem like a problem waiting to happen. It they used the same type of bottom fill set up that the Micro GDC has, that would be perfect.

I HATE THIS TANK ALREADY! Got it today, opened the top, filled it, closed it properly and let it sit for the day. I came home now: Tank 100% empty. All the juice over my Nebula. NO clue what happened. Disassembled it, the o-rings are a joke. This transparent little thing on the chimney is a joke + there was part of an oring coming out of my airholes.

Triple or quad coil? Which were you using?

WOW, guess I got lucky. I bought 3 TFV4 and an X cube 2 and loving these tanks, no leaks, easy to clean, easy to fill, and the quad coils are delivering awesome flavor. I did "lube" my o-rings with a lil bit of juice like one reviewer (can't remember who it was) mentioned in their youtube review of this tank and I am having zero problems. I already put up my sx mini with the zephrus and triton for sale since this will be my only go to set up. Now I can't wit for the other coils that will be released soon to become available.
