triple coil. the one that was installed. Got it, filled it, leaking...

It was quite hard to get the bottom o-ring off the glass as it was like glued together. For me they ruined the tank with cheap orings for now. lets see how my second one works out. I hope there will be an upgrade for the orings.

PS: also got my replacement coils today and half of the orings are loose in there, so they snapped off already (not a big deal as I can reposition them I guess.)

Smok sent me 2 TFV4 tanks and I am not having any issues with the o-rings or with the fill port not staying closed. I was told that there was a previous batch that people got (the non kit batch) that had some issues that they fixed. Perhaps the people having problems got these tanks?

Smok just contacted me yesterday and told me they are sending me the following coils to review
The new coils for TFV4:
1.TF-N2 Standard core
2.TF-N2 Air Core
3.TF-T2 Standard Core
4.TF-T2 Air Core
5.TF-TI Core
6.TF-S6 Core
7.RBA dual coil

cant wait to see how these coils work. Apparently the air coils will give you a cooler vape because not all the air goes directly through the coil. The S6 coil is supposed to be very efficient and have great flavor.

WOW, guess I got lucky. I bought 3 TFV4 and an X cube 2 and loving these tanks, no leaks, easy to clean, easy to fill, and the quad coils are delivering awesome flavor. I did "lube" my o-rings with a lil bit of juice like one reviewer (can't remember who it was) mentioned in their youtube review of this tank and I am having zero problems. I already put up my sx mini with the zephrus and triton for sale since this will be my only go to set up. Now I can't wit for the other coils that will be released soon to become available.

Same here...no leaks and the o-rings are holding up. They really should have provided spares doe.

Yeah thats their two tone carbon wrap, I'm from the UK and I always prefer to pay the shipping because JWraps are just awesome, it's still as good as the day I put it on too, really good wraps.

Tfv4 vapes fine at 40-50w for me, 40w a little slower ramp time, 50 is a nice cool vape with good vapor production and decent flavor
Flavour comes out more at 90w for me but we all vape different hey.. If its a good vape for you then that's all that matters :thumb:

I just ordered a wrap for mine. The blue flame skull. But I think I'm going to jewel the metal instead of putting a sticker on it. Like a custom rifle bolt, in case you don't know what jeweling is...

I HATE THIS TANK ALREADY! Got it today, opened the top, filled it, closed it properly and let it sit for the day. I came home now: Tank 100% empty. All the juice over my Nebula. NO clue what happened. Disassembled it, the o-rings are a joke. This transparent little thing on the chimney is a joke + there was part of an oring coming out of my airholes.
Did you take the coil out before you filled it up, obviously something isn't right here, its common for the o ring on the coil to be completely missing, I've had that happen on a number of new tanks, all I can say is check everything..
I noticed that the O ring on the coil can also ride its way up from the base and is easily missed too..
I agree the chimney O ring is poor, it should be a lot stronger and harder to get off, same with the bottom o ring.
It really is a great tank that has been let down by a few short cuts, it's a shame..
Having said that, mine hasn't leaked and apart from the bottom O ring the somehow melted itself onto the glass and ripped, its vaping like a dream.. For how long, I'm not sure as the snap shut top hinge doesn't snap shut any more, it just pushes together and I've found myself using the vape band to make sure it's secure.. Either way, it is still the best flavour out of all the tanks I have tried, no flooding, no dry hits, there are a lot of positives for sure..

If they have spent all that money on coils surely some cheap rubber will come soon. Well not as cheap as what we got, but you know what I mean. So far other than that 1st flood I have not had any issues to note. I can still take that Quad to 150. I have 2 tanks, one with the triple and one with the quad. No reason yet to break them down so I may discover melted this or that soon enough but I cannot say. Can't see why I would not have a problem as hot as I take them.

Smok saying "oh a few went out like this or that but it got corrected", tough to believe statements like this when they are the seller. Of course they will say whatever because everything is at stake and unless you got a $5,000 open PO (purchase order) with them the level of facts you will get may be "iffy". It would be so easy to serialize tanks or boxes but doing that would hold them more accountable.

Same goes from whole sellers. One wholeseller told a retailer that passed on to me a new Starre Pro is on the way revised. Contact Freemax and they are like..."ummmm, no, who is saying that?". I am not saying one won't happen, but what do ya do.

You just never know BUT I hope at least this all works out for all of us. I do like the tank and even if I have to spend 20 bucks in rubber to keep them operating optimally for a year I probably would because performance is nice.

This blows the mind, sorry to hear that, but I am curious to hear further analaysis. :(

yea me too... I love this tank and have had zero problems with it. Smok sent me two and I had one I purchased that just came in today so I am rocking 3 of these right now. Its great I rarely even use the velocity anymore.

Mine has started leaking again with the RBA. I'm starting to get frustrated with this tank.

I wish they had serial numbers on the tanks so we could maybe narrow down leaking to a certain batch.

I actually have cotton in the juice channel. Not too much, just a little. I saw a YouTube video where the guy barely touched the juice channel and his didn't leak. There has to be something else going on. This tank is unpredictable.
