Now I see why it didn't help as I have opened mine up and only counted three, the bottom one, the chimney one and the black one at the top where the glass fits in, I haven't included the big white top fill one.. I'm enough to confuse a genius lol
So what the hell did he sent me then, as I saw the bottom one that I needed to replace I just thought they all came from the tank, no bloody idea mate lol

How many o-rings should be in there all in all?

- 2 for the glass, 1 on top (black), 1 in the bottom part (white).
- 1 on the chimney (transparent)
- 1 on the bottom of the coils (transparent)

Did I miss one? One TFV4 works fine now. The other one vomited again 100% of its juice within 5 minutes through the airholes...
Soooooo can we rewind and forget all my insanely dumb posts and give you a normal answer..
Yes that's correct, thats what I counted, I'm going into a dark corner now to try and figure out what just happened to me

@V43L1N , Sorry to hear your problems with those tanks, it happens, I hope you have more luck with the Crown, please let us know..

Crown arrived yesterday, it's a decent tank, no leaks so far. Flavor is on par with the Freemax Starre IMO.

The riptide, on the other hand is a completely different story. The .5 Kanthal coils are blowing my Starre out of the water in flavor and vapor production.
The Ni200 coils work pretty well, good flavor, and vapor production on par with my other temp control tanks.

Ok I did some searching and the riptide seems to be a new subohm tabk from a company by the name of Amigo (yeah I never heard of them either). Could be good but they just didn't get the product out to get reviewed so no one knows about it. VapinFagan did a review of one of their other tanks (the Donner) which he thought was pretty good for a single coil sub tank.

Only place I could find the riptide for sale is here:

Just got this baby in the mail today, and I have a question before I use it. How do you guys prime the 3 coil head, if at all? Paint the cotton on the sides and put 1-2 drops on each of the three coils? I'll be using max vg juice from MtBakerVapor btw.
I prime the cotton, not the coils, not a good idea to overprime, jus get the cotton wet :)

I swear this thing is cursed: I am vaping on my quad coil for the second tank on the ipv3li. All of a sudden it stops firing and says "low resistance". Putting it on my nebula, says 0.03 ohms... so shorted out. Thought the coil might crapped out. Disassambled, all looks good. Reassambled. 0.15 ohms again. WTF?

I uses the same design coil as Atlantis, interchangeable from what I read. It seems like Atlantis coils and the like work in so many of the tanks these days or vice versa. It makes sense though, if you are a fledgling tank company make something that can survive on another coil. The same company launched an Aspire CF battery mod (semi) clone to go along with the tank. So some where there is some connection, probably someones brothers cousins nephew who works at Aspire :)

It reads 0.2 on my Sig but I have an Li coming so if mine does that I will let you know.

The triple should be .2, the quad is .15. It is not the mod, something went wrong in the tank.

Nevertheless I ordered a 3rd one. I know that is stupid but I love the flavors and I want one for RBA and 2 for the other coils so I don't have to switch constantly when using different flavors. It is around $20 ... so whatever.

The stupid thing would be to buy a pack of smokes, nobody here will think your stupid for buying another TFV4 bro..

Sometimes things just don't go right, it happens, I had a really bad experience with the Crown tank, so disappointed and I let my frustrations get the better of me in the Crown thread. I have sent it back in hope it was faulty and will receive a new one next week.. Stick with it and hopefully it will all come together..Grab some spare coils too :)

I bought 2 additional kits---just fired up a new tank with the triple coil---no leaks so far either. The top piece is a little looser than the first tank, but it seems to be holding decent for now. Will definitely need to use the rubber band thing that comes with the kit to make sure it doesn't open. So far the triple coil is putting out decent flavor and clouds. Not as good as the quad, but pretty darn good. It seems to deplete juice similar to the quad though. So far I am pretty impressed with the TFV4. Next up will be the RBA coil

@ Stinky - There is a slight difference in temperature between the 2 coils but its not off the charts different, but a little, but for the wattages they handle, I expected much warmer than what we got so that's cool.

@ Tim - I have also ordered and received 2 more tanks, but I think I will hold off on opening them just yet. I have yet to change a coil so I want to go down that road and see how these seals look since I stay 90-105 watts pretty regularly and certainly ran 130-150 a few tanks "checking them out". I have not had any massive leaks as I keep using them but every once in a while I pick one up and the feel ever so slightly "slick" with juice, barely noticeable so I am betting this is seepage from the glass seals.

@ Rixsta - I ordered some spare Kanger seals, have seals for Arctic and Crown laying around also so when I do change coils and do a check I may give them a shot. When and if I can confirm any particular ones work by brand I will share that info. Until then we are that the mercy of SMOK to release seal kits they SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED as spares. Can't have it all!

@EVERYONE - What future tanks do you think has a shot and being a major player? I watched a video on the Sense Cyclone, looks cool but I noticed it looks like they are doing that mid-tank fill thing. So for me the Starre Pro was a disappointment with dry hits and vacuum issues, the new Aspire and Horizon reviews on the forum are not looking stellar. I am kind of feeling like we may have peaked for a bit. I'm going to try a couple tanks over the next week that are not popular but I don't think they will "displace" SMOK and Crown right now.

Sorry for the length, figured I would get it all said in one post. :)

I had been debating on what high powered tank to get, with this one being on top with the Crown 2nd. I finally picked this tank up after leaning towards it since short it came out and seeing that a local B&M started carrying it, so I couldn't help but dry over and pick it up! Any advice on using this tank, like priming the coils or anything?
