As try as I might I have a bad case of ordering everything, Currently have a Snow Wolf 200, IPV4s, Sig 75,and A ipv D2 if it ever gets here, That just my Temp controlled, My Question is which one would you prefer and Why? I know that the Sig have a better track record, But I am liking some of the features of the smok. If anybody has any insight on one or the other, or both for that matter I am all ears.

I've just got the sigelei as my first tc device. I have to say I love it.

It's very sturdy and having the dual batteries is a definite bonus for me as I never have before.

I love the look and feel of it. It does everything I ask of it. It does expect you to manually adjust between joules and power but I don't see that as a problem.

It doesn't have a usb pass through either but it hits all the right spots with everything else and the price is fantastic.

Check some of the threads on the xcube 2. You will need a BT 4 capable smartphone or tablet to use TC effectively and then assuming you can get their app to work, they charge a fee through PayPal to "unlock" Ti temp coefficients. The whole thing seems like some accountant's bright idea with no customer focus whatsoever.

What!?! Does this mean the device could do ti temp control on release but they locked it so that you have to pay an additional fee?? If that's the case than that is wrrrroonnnng. I hope I'm wrong about it, but it's things like that we need to let these manufactures know that we do not like that one bit and we aren't going to put up with that kind of bs.

Yeah, users have been posting that on the xcube 2, to set the TCR low enough to work "correctly" with Ti, there's a small fee you have to pay through PayPal. It's a stupid idea that should be punished with no sales until they reverse that policy.

As a dissatisfied sigelei customer I'll be buying an x cube 2 and few tfv4 tanks soon, friend got his cube last week and I was a bit sceptical with it being smok but it's a well put together bit of kit but damn does it collect fingerprints my only little negative on it. Temp control works very well, the led can be turned off and the firing bar which was my other concern is great takes just enough pressure to activate that accidental firings are unlikely. Yes the ti coefficient costs 49¢ not a huge amount given how cheap the mod is and whilst not something I like at least it's priced OK. I also have a sneaking feeling these pay for features are a way to gauge popularity of certain features that might be hot topics on forums like this but in the real world are insignificant.

He also got two of the tfv4 tanks and if you diy your liquid you'll love them as how fast the liquid goes doesn't bite as much as it would if you purchased ready made. I only have 50w mods at the minute and that's just no where near enough for either the triple or quad coils rba works like a dream though. Smok have hit it out of the park with these two releases they match perfectly and give one of the best vapes around enough that I'll be buying them soon as I've got the cash.

I agree that 49 cents is not a lot but it's a slippery slope of a manufacturer training the vaping public to get on a "pay for vape" type treadmill. Seems like that first toe in the water step. Hopefully enough folks think it's a bad idea, won't buy their product, and they won't be able to expand the concept.

Honestly the x cube.

That only down to 0.1 ohm on the sigelei 150 TC just kills it for me. A new TC device in these days should have a 0.05 ohm for temperature control. especially a mod that only can use nickel. FFS the sig 75 goes down to 0.05 why in godsname not the 150?

Plus I kinda like the X cube's design. it's unique in my opinion.

And the whole "pay to unlock titanium/temp coefficients" thing. It is kinda douchey but then again. it's 50 cents to unlock. The fact is that it is still a feature that the sigelei 150 TC can NEVER have since it can't be upgraded. the X cube's upgradable firmware just stabs the sig in the side again.

It's really weird. I LOVE my sigelei 150 but in terms of TC something like IPV3 LI or X cube is a better option

As I said Mad I'm not convinced it's all about the money and not more to find out how many people off forums care about certain things. If you look on most tc threads in forums you'd be forgiven for thinking titanium wire was massively popular but it isn't it might be the latest thing for some. Smok I think are trying to work out the real world situation as opposed to the big noise on a few forums hence the pricing being very low.

I have been using the X-Cube II and it is a wonderful device. Quickly has become my top favorite after only 5 days of constant use. I am into using titanium in my RDA's and since I do not have an iPhonethat is needed to get the Ti TCR software app I have been using my Ti coils with the Ni TC setting. Adjustment of 50 to 100F lower temp setting compared to what I used in Nickel gives a very warm and flavorful vape and temp protect kicks in if my temp setting get exceeded. This surprised me and yet it just works very well indeed. So if you do not have a device with a Ti curve try using Ti in Ni mode -30/100 lower setting and see how you like it. Your experience may vary and any comments would be appreciated.
