Hey there everyone!

This is something I've been contemplating for some time now; I'm wanting to start making my own juice. Not only for the price, but so that I can make a juice that fits my own tastes, I can be kind of picky. After some research and debating, I need help finding a "starter" kit. Or a one stop shop.

I realize there is a thread for starters, but it really seems outdated. So I'm asking you guys knowing that I just started to help create a shopping list for me.

Starter kit for a skinflint like me: PG and/or VG (USP grade for both, I use only VG), clean left over bottles from premade juice, and measuring devices (disposable syringes one each at 1 ml and 10 ml will do). Disposable gloves and eye protection are recommended.
Optional: nicotine base (if you want nicotine), flavorings, maybe distilled water from the grocery store, if you will make mostly VG juice.

Recommended reading, if you have not already done so.
These ones will get you up to speed on what not to do:

And dannyv45 and Hoosier's blogs are very helpful for what you should do and how to do it:

As far as STUFF you might need....a lot depends on the amounts you make. I make 10-12 ml at a time.

If you like more VG then PG then order a larger bottle of that compared to the amount of PG.

Syringes 3ml/10ml also the different sized needles for VG.PG, etc.
Droppers/Pipette 1ml/3ml for Flavors
Bottles for making DIY 10ml/30 ml
PG
VG
Nicotine ( if you want )
Flavors ( choose what you like first )
Cylinder 10 ml ( helpful )
Goggles ( if you want. )
Gloves ( if you want. )

Do your self a favor and vape unflavored juice for a week letting your flavored juice steap.
It helped me a lot

+1 for making the first batch unflavored, even if you don't have patience for waiting for your other mixes. That allows you to know the flavor and quality of your base, VG, and PG. lets you become familiar with handling the equipment and materials, and you might like it more than you expect.

Well, I got all my supplies a few days back and after a few recipes that I concocted in my head I finally got one down that I like. A Horchata Tobacco vape. It's light on the flavor, but honestly it hasn't required much steeping. 15pg/85vg. Around 5mg of nic. I dig it.

Nice to hear you got things started! :) I am still messing around with flavors and trying to test different mixes.
