Looking to start diy my own juices and had a question.

Are there any good starter kits for diy? Or is it better to buy things individually?

Any tips on items that are must haves? Im just wanting to be sure and have everything I need before starting rather than starting then stopping to order something forgotten :)

Thanks in advance for any help

I started with the Basic DIY kit from Nude Nicotine...came with safety gear, flavor concentrates, PG, VG, Nicotine, syringes, tubes , pipettes a good basic kit and was reasonable ($50)

» Nude-Approved DIY Starter Kit – Basic

That one looks pretty good. I'd add more bottles to the purchase if you pick that one.

Other options:

DIY MIXING KITS

They are skimpy on the needles though. But you get a (fairly crappy) tool box.

It depends a lot on your budget but I would buy separate items. sometimes kits have items you really wont wind up using.

You can find 32oz bottles of PG and VG out there for $33 dollars (both $33 total) w/free shipping (@ essentials depot) which will be enough juice for many, months if not longer. some kits only provide a 60 or 120 ml bottle of each which doesn't last very long.

you can find good quality Nicotine in various Mg levels and sizes (if you choose to use nic. in your juice) at Wizard labs along with a variety of flavorings as well.
when you buy higher level nic juice from Wizard labs they throw in a pair of gloves.

I also advise that you shop around different flavor vendors for a flavor or two you might like. (buy the smallest sizes to start)
capellas has some nice flavorings and are very good quality.

You can get syringes very cheap at Wal-Mart (buy some 1ml size... like .40 cents each) even free for some sizes (5ml and 10ml) if you just ask the pharmacist for them, say you need them to administer meds to your kid, or family member.

rinse well old or empty juice bottles to start with you can buy bottles later (about 25 to 30 cents ea.)

That should get you started supplies wise. best advise is to download the E Juice me up calculator and play around with it to figure out how it works.
make only 5ml batches to start.
begin w/10% flavoring to start and work up from there as needed.
Best of luck!

I also bought a beaker set on Amazon for around 7 bux it came w/a 50ml / 100ml and a 250 ml beaker. I also bought a small glass funnel (50mm size)
I never use the 250 ml size, only use the 50 ml size to make up 30ml batches of my daily vape.

I use the 100ml size to make 90ml base liquid batches with nicotine and pour it into 3oz. (90ml) bottles, got the bottles from Wal-Mart for around 3 bux for 3 bottles (travel size bottles) found in the soap/shampoo Isle area.

I recently bought a 10ml beaker for a couple of bux to make test batches in.

I use a small syringe w/needle (the only time I use a needel for DIY) to suck up about 8 or 10 small drops and then use them in an RBD to taste the flavor, if I like it and feel it doesn't need any adjustment I bottle it up and label it.

I used to put it in a small clearotank and test it that way but it just wasn't as accurate and used about 2 1/2 t o3 ml's of the juice. it becomes hard to adjust the mix doing it that way plus its more hassle and can be messy.

another good tip would be to tell you to start with single flavor mixes until you get the hang of it before trying multiple flavor combinations.
Again, Good Luck in DIYing Trucker!

From my reading I agree there are many ways to get what you need. Although I hear many say you dont need pipettes or this or that and where are my giant glass bottles, beakers and so on. I believe that for starting out, simple is better. Especially if you are making small sample batches. I had a good experience with this company. DIY Artisan Kits - One Stop DIY Shop Store When and if I start making larger batches I will purchase what I need at that time. Just one persons view. :D

+1 for Wizard Labs. Good prices, great shipping. I started with 120ml bottles of Nic, PG, VG. That will last you a bit, and then you will know if DIY is something you want to continue with.
A few syringes and pipettes. I generally use a 3cc and a 1 ml pipette for 5ml test batches.
Flavor concentrates of your liking. You will hear various opinions of what is the best for each flavor. I started with TFA from WL. Don't forget the various enhancers you might need. (sweetners, EM, sour, marshmallow, ect)
Read up on various recipes and how different people are going about it and then start mixing up and enjoying. I agree that starting simple is probably the best bet.
Have fun!
