Hi,
I am contemplating concocting my own Juices with a Nicotine base, My question is I ordered some 48MG nicotine (should arrive soon). Now to start with I am not going to order a whole bunch of juices, but just buy the 10ML bottles with no Nicotine and add my nicotine. Is the e-liquid flavors purchased from Vape stores the same as the Flavors you purchase for creating your own DIY juices?
So I can start with few 10ML bottles of FlavorX and add my own Nicotine and other flavors to obtain MY flavor?
Jim
p.s. Hope that makes sense....basically what I am after is flavor for the purpose of DIY more concentrated for the this purpose?

Basically, yes BUT there are hundreds of flavors from at least a dozen manufacturers. Not to mention the e-liquid makers that make their own NETs and extracts.

Second question- what kickflipsnnollies (love that name!) said. You'll dilute the flavor of ready made liquids. A lot or a little depending on your nic requirement.

Have you looked at this calculator to get an idea how to DIY E-liquid -

eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator

You can download this calculator for free.....play with it till your comfortable to actually start doing it. Make sure to fill in all the needed fields.

You will need PG, VG, Nicotine and Flavor.

1 flavor is the easiest to start with. If using 100% VG then you need to add distilled water. If mixing with a ratio of PG, VG then no distilled water is needed.

PG = Propylene Glycol USP
VG = Vegetable Glycerin

I use Wizard Labs....there are other vendors that also sell PG/VG, Nicotine, Flavors, Supplies, ect. Don't forget bottles and syringes.

Good Luck to You!!!

For me the whole purpose of DIY is because I enjoy the hobby and I want to save money where I can. DIY can be as complicated or as easy as you want to make it. If you want to make them from recipes, there are so many great threads on ecf. I have come to the point where I just like to add flavor to my own pre made unflavored nic juice.

As far as what you are talking about, yes you will dilute the flavor somewhat but I have done exactly what you are talking about. I suppose I prefer flavors that are not so strong.

While you are trying to find flavors that you like, here is a link to a thread I use to rely on to find good deals. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals-215.html

Here is a site that also helped me when I first started out. Do It Yourself E-Liquid (E-Juice) Recipe Mixing Station! There is just so much great information everywhere. I hope I have helped you some. Good luck to you and have fun with it. That is the most important thing.
