I've recently been dealing with some major stress and that, evidentally, made me obsess about smoking again. After 59 years of doing it, even with a couple of years vaping under my belt, some old habits die a hard death if they ever do. Anyway, battling it made me think back to what I did to quit and, lightbulb, that was the eroll. It gave me the feel of a smoke in my hand and drip tips just don't replace that smoke feel between the lips. All I can say is WOW!!! Why did I ever put them in the drawer and replace with my VV toys? I like them as much as I did back when I used them daily and still can't believe how these tiny things hit! I pulled out some of my, supposedly, 3.7 Egos topped with 1.8 ohms... nope, I do not believe these Egos are 3.7 ... not comparing them with the same 1.8ohms but on Erolls. I'm too lazy to get my meter out or to look it up and don't remember how to change my iTaste back to volts to check but I bumped those up to 8.5/9 watts before they compared to my Erolls. Ugh... now I remember why I retired my Erolls.. the itty bitty tanks because I got spoiled by big tanks on my iTastes. Never again I say. Refilling is a small price to pay to stay off the smokes when their evil shadows pop up. Yup.. this tobacco flavored juice and Eroll have helped shoo them away.

That's a pretty awesome argument for the eRoll. eRoll lovers happily put up with quite a bit of small inconveniences for great form factor. Now, if mom and pops would come around and stock some eRoll parts.

I'm not anti mod, but they're kinda like the bag phone of the 80's. I don't wanna be that guy in a bar with a ridiculous looking mod and vaping up the place with clouds and clouds of vapor.

Speaking as a guy who just recently starting vaping up bars with huge clouds, I still love the erolls... They're nice, compact and hit like a heavyweight for their size... Though I noticed that I have to keep them filled with higher nic juice then I regularly vape but hell... They are my one and only backup after retiring my egos and even the vtr... Love those little things

I've just got hold of a mega PCC which keeps three erolls charging and has a 3000 mah capacity. It works pretty well for me, having 3 on charge at the same time means I don't run out of charged up erolls if I chain vape and the total capacity lasts me almost 2 full days.

The little space for spare tanks is useless, they leak and 3 just isn't enough, so I'm still using my little bacy tin full of tanks, which I fill up every night. The 7 tanks in the tin and 3 on the eRolls in the mega PCC will last me all day.

The main reason I wanted to upgrade from the eRolls was a) the tiny tank, and b) the decreasing quality of the vape after the first hit -- on asking around here, I learned that a variable volt/watt device would keep that from happening, so I got an iTaste vv3, and eureka! But, back in the summer when I was trying to get my taste back for vaping, I remembered one other thing about eRolls, how they mute the taste -- which was JUST what I needed, since I had lost my taste for vaping! So I got my eRoll back out and charged and filled, and used it for several weeks, and it worked just as well the 2nd time as it did the first time. After a few weeks, I finally did get my taste back for vaping, so I went back to my Kayfuns, but those little eRolls really are the cat's pajamas in some situations.

I don't think I'll ever retire them now. Since breaking them out again I've hardly reached for my VVs in a week which wasn't intentional its just what happened naturally. That spoke volumes to me. I think all the VVs/clearos/tanks I have were just bought because they were something new. Nice, actually, to see them now taking back seat to my little Erolls... well, except for the pricey atties. But... Whodathunkit?

There's been a significant drop in the price of eRoll atties in the US recently. I've been paying about $13/ 5 pack. Just noticed Vulcan Vape has them on clearance for $10.25. Time to stock up.

They aré great machines in their own right.. I'm buying a singelei 100watt mod and I still have my erolls going no matter what I have with me...

On another note, I don't think they mute the taste... There are flavours I really like on the erolls that I can't stand on rebuildables or stock tanks...

Patkin,
my experience is similar to yours.

I bought the leather case (very classy and real leather) for the eRoll kit, which allows me to carry 2 batts (one charging, the other one sitting in right hand slot of leather case.)

I can take these anywhere......hospital, wedding, lunch, errands, horse races, casino, etc. And even when you are "dressy" in which for a female, you are in a LBD (little black dress) and holding a huge mod.....no thanks. :)

I had a REO with an expensive SS Super T Manufacturing tip stolen from me last year, so now, I only use my REO at home once I get into recliiner........rest of time......it's my eRoll. All day.

The other thing that it does for me, and I realize this is NOT a goal for most people, is that I really don't want to vape forever. I vape to stay off cigs.....but I'm 2+ years in and haven't had a cig in that time. I have dropped my nic, and don't vape constantly anymore......so......

I have never vaped above 4.0 watts on let's say a 2.0ohm delivery device coil (I know from using my ego twists....never turned the knob unless the coil was starting to die and needed more OOOPH!) so I really don't want or need big kick.

as a matter of fact, "needing that kick" is something I'm trying to make behavioral modifications to AVOID.....because I just don't want to need that smoking feeling anymore.

I can be out all day, and in stores, and if I get into truck and just need a little nicotine, a few hits off the eRoll really SCORES for me. :) It packs a punch, actually.

I have also become endeared to the Type A joyetech coils. I tried the kanger stuff......no comparison. I boil my atties and let dry, then vape them for another week, sometimes I use denture fizzies......at any rate, I am still using the SAME atties I was using over a month ago. I'm 5-6 weeks into coils here, vaping high VG, and they do great.

So, with the leather case, I just love it. DOn't need the mega eRoll, because 2 erolll kits, with the leather case, is 4 batts......enough for 2 full days or more. In the leather case they are slim and fit nicely into jean pocket or small zipper area of purse.

I have owned *everything*........you only have to look at my classifieds score to see that

But for whatever reason, I am just an eRoll fan, and I think i will probably just use them and my REO and really not bother with other stuff.

I also have "doubts" about the health of high wattage vaping......my esophagus and windpipe and lungs have taken a LOT of abuse from years of smoking......I really want *gentle vaping* here on out. :)

I am not sure eroll would have "done it" for me when I 1st quit smoking, but now, they are just perfect. :)

PS, I did try to rebuild one of those atties, but I am arthritic, and when I pried off the top part, just the smallest pressure *can* bend those, and then it never fit back into my eroll quite right again (atty cover just would not go all the way down over it) even though even under magnifying glass it doesn't look bent.

After a month, which is how long they've lasted me anyway with proper cleaning, I don't think they "owe" me anything so I toss now and just insert new coil. :)

People either hate or love the eroll that's for sure. :)

After picking up a couple of the $5 original kits, I am feeling the exact same eRoll love!

I loved the eRoll for months, and used it exclusively. Refilling the tank was never much a bother for me, and I was always carrying juice in my bag, even with egos and tanks. But the pricey atomizers did start to get to me, and eventually my PCC stopped taking a charge, and finally died. I was tired of buying the attys anyway and my last 5 pack didn't even work (think I maybe was sent type b), so I just went back to my egos, and never really thought much about it. Went to VV3, Vamo, MVP2, etc. Never even touch the egos anymore.

But having this tiny little ecig back in my hands feels amazing. It feels so natural and it's so nice not to have a mod or ego sized device again. This thing is perfect and hits amazing, as always.

Bottom line, I'm sorry for forsaking you, eRoll. And I'm glad the attys are getting cheaper!

We got an eroll kit for my future mother in law for christmas and she loves it. I think she may actually quit smoking now. Plus she's very active politically, which is never a bad thing to have on team vape lol.

I figured after a couple weeks she'd end up wanting something bigger and more powerful like I use... but instead I'm debating getting an eroll kit for myself. It just looks so much easier to carry around and use when I'm out and about. And if it hits like you guys say, then I think when I get the funds, it will be my next purchase.
