Ahh there is one mod that is 133 watts. I realize this is a YIHI thread. I just haven't seen the other 200 watt mods get so many replies saying the same thing that 2 18650s isn't safe in a 200 watt mod. This thread has 9 pages so far of almost everyone saying the same thing like it hasn't been posted a thousand times already. It just seemed strange to me. My guess is Vlad1 is right when he said:

I think this discussion is valid as the Q will be a 200 watt 2-cell device. Maybe Yihi (or someone else) is coming out with a 35 or 40 amp battery?

I have a few Yihi devices now and they are rock solid

Until we get some solid release info I still expect a device that's not going to vent my VTC4's

I haven't checked out the other forums but I imagine your right because a lot of members here belong to other forums and Facebook. I think all the repetition will die down once the mod comes out. It seems like most people to criticize something before it comes out rather than after it comes out.

I think they are critical of the perception of any device 200 watts with 2 1865's. Yep, this is a thread about a non-existent device but Yihi's own Facebook says this:

Maybe it's because the company selling the device is saying to use a 35A battery, which doesn't exist, for a current draw of 31.62A... I agree, it's been repeated multiple times, but that's because it's a pretty bad statement.

Yes, but how many times must it be repeated? Does it need to be repeated until the end of time? New thread readers will find wading through thousands of posts all saying the same thing a huge time waster. I know I hate those threads were people keep repeating the same thing over and over like parrots.

There should be a different thread for those that wish to contriube for "Dual 18650 High Wattage limitations /concerns" and this thread cleaned of the spam.

I agree with that. I think this thread only needs one post about battery concerns. The rest of them could go into a new thread that references all 200 watt mods, not just one.

Vlad1 and Hyperspace recommnend a new thread... start one...many posts here talking about all 200 watt devices already. Battery safety is important thus the posts and battery safety should be applicable to all devices no matter the maker.. Not spam as far as I'm concerned.
