Did a test today! Changed my wicks and filled my TGT and clone. Took my daughter to the orthodontist office for about half an hour. The clone started gurgling on the way home and leaking by the time I got in the house. The original was fine the whole time. Then took the original with me to the grocery store too. Still fine. So, since I re wicked and refilled them both the same, at the same time I'm guessing that Hciger uses lesser o-rings. I will know for sure when my o-ring kits get here from Germany. Maybe that's why the draw is looser????

By the way, the clone is vapping fine now that I'm home!

Domo Vapor has a nice o-ring kit also. Not cheap, but they are U.S. :D

Yup, out of stock!:glare: looked all over but had to import! I did get on Domos wait list though. They'll probably get them in the same day I do!
I also through a build base and a full clear tank on while I was there. In Germany that is!:)

I just got a Taifun GT from angelcigs yesterday and it's an Ivogo version. I pulled out the center airflow pin and the plastic bushing (plastic was a PITA). I'm getting ready to drill out the airflow intake and was wondering if I needed to remove the 510 screw before I start drilling? I'm also wondering if I should dremmel out the side slots as well, seeing as the Ivogo version is the "skinny slotted" version? And last question, do I need to pull out the positive or negative screw out before I start drilling as well?

The 510 can stay. Just drill the air hole. You will feel it once it's all the way through. But I use scotch tape and mark on the bit how far I need to go.

About 3 mm, otherwise you will be drilling into the brass disc which will result in nothing but trouble.

Thanks. I never thought about marking it with a smaller bit... Duh lol.

That's 3 mm deep, about the thickness of the wall of the base. The existing air inlet hole is around 2 mm, less on some.
Keep in mind if you double the size of the hole (bit), eg. 2 mm to 4 mm, this results in 4 times the volume under the same pressure (negative in this case). So 2 mm to 2.5, a 25% increase in bit size would result in 100% more air (through this particular spot if it were the bottle neck. (under same pressure)

I use a Dremel for this type of job. One of the best tool buys I've ever made. Dremel clone from Harbor Freight.

I think I figured out the air flow difference between my Original TGT and my clone. The clone has a true 1.5 air tube in it and the replacement air tube I got for my original ( supposed to be 1.5 ) isn't! I have a 1.4mm screw driver and it will fit in the Hcigar clone tube with just a touch of play but the Taifun tube it will not fit in at all. I called Vaper Logic to see if they might have sent the wrong ones. Haven't herd back from them yet.

They said that those were 1.5mm, that's all they ordered but they don't measure up from what I can see!:glare:the clone did but can't find there parts either.:(don't want to run it without but might try it!
