Yes mate, I have already fired off an email to them. Not expecting a reply in a hurry due to the Easter holiday. I've also ordered the deck off fasttech. If it doesn't work it's only a few quid wasted.
I looked at the GT4 but it's not my vape style at all, looks way too airy and I would need the MTL reduced chamber and the MTL airflow post. I bought my GT3 because I'd really enjoyed the GT2 clones (could no longer buy the original at the time) and wanted an authentic Taifun.
Anyway since the GT3 is now out of action I'm using my Squape RS again.
I'm glad they had the part you needed.
I don't know where I am exactly on the MTL-DTL thing, but probably somewhere in the middle. The MTL airflow post has been a help in getting the GT IV to my liking, but I cannot tell the reduction chamber does anything. I'm going to try leaving it out the next time I wash it.
Thanks mate. As for the GT IV it looked way too airy for me even with the MTL post. I would think all the reduction chamber does is promote slightly better flavour.
So which base is pictured, original or clone?
Authentic and it was the deck section that needed replacing not the base.
Thanks mate. They were really fast, only 5 days from Germany to the UK. What really surprised me is that I also ordered a repair kit with the new deck and everything had been assembled. Posts and insulators fitted, even the screws. All the spare O-rings came in a separate bag. Outstanding service. Just need to be far more careful with my tank from now on.
