I love lamp. I mean lens....the new macro I got is an absolute powerhouse. Picked up the changing colors on the 38g fuses over the ka/n80 ribbon mixed colors...I wonder what would happen if I attached a 10x diopter?

Looks great for your first try. A lot better than my first try at them. You will get good at them and be able to run the drill wide open. That's how I do on these and aliens now. It took me wasting more than 100' of wire before I finally got it. Lol. Keep up the good work!

I will add my first more advanced coil porn tries Not much, but they do a perfect job using low power =]

Atomizer: OBS Engine Mini
Wire: 3 x 2 x 30GA, SS 316L
Diamiter: 4mm
Wraps: 2 x 4.5
Resistance: 0.5 ohm (in double single)
Power sweet spot: 30W

And:

Fish tail braid
Atomizer: Ehpro Billow 2.5
Wire: 4 x 30GA, SS 316L
Diamiter: 2.5mm
Wraps: 8.5 per coil
Resistance: 0.22 ohm (dual coil)
Power sweet spot: 26W.

Ehpro Billow 2.5 has a small build deck, so its hard to fit something bigger. Though that small .......s do the job perfectly.

New atomizer - new braid. Govad rta. 6x2 34GA Celtic Braid out of SS316L, dia ~5mm, 0.45ohm, 25W in 220°C TC.

Wrapped 24g/30g clapton, and then wrapped it with .5mm ribbon wire like you would a tiger coil, im calling it a striped clapton/tiger clapton as i have not seen another one on any forums yet (although i doubt i am the first to try this) and wow... just wow... I love the flavour off of a 24/30 clapton but in my ijoy rdta box the ramp up time was just not too my liking, after adding the outer layer of ribbon wire, it is a providing an even more flavorful, very dense vapor and quite possibly the smoothest vape i have had from any advanced coil build (alien clapton, tiger coil, tidal wire, etc). Highly recommend this build for beginner builders as you can buy premade clapton, and adding the ribbon wire is a very easy process.

Just made my first zipper coil, rating at .22 ohms uing 26g kanthal A1 single coiled and couldnt be happier with the results of a uniform zipper, trying to figure out how to shrink my photos below 1mb to post photos. Cant help but think that a zipper cored tiger coil or clapton coil would just be fantastic for a singe coil set up, definiteley going to be on my list of wires-to-spin hoping to have photos up soon

and heres the zipper coil, mind you its my first attempt and i did not flatten it but the results of the vape are fantastic
