Nice! I personally love 4 core staggers but they can be a pain to pull off sometimes if I (personally) am not using a cordless drill. Even then, staggers are staggers and don't always want to do what you want them to do. Great clean work right there

Why thank you. They’re all relatively simple though as of late (still have some half finished staggers I’m working on that I need to finish eventually, don’t have a clue when that will be though [emoji23])...high volumes of shop orders coming in and all & gearing up for the holiday season. Here’s my most recent IG series.

Just some all 316L SS framed staple interlocks, installed in the Trickster 25mm by Kennedy

I wish Tapatalk would let me post this GIF but it’s getting up to 95% and getting an error message.

My first ssfc. Was a serious pain in the *ss lol but came out better than I expected. Can someone tell me what size ribbon wire you typically use? This is 0.8 x 0.1 wrapped in 36. All SS except the ribbon. Any and all critiques and tips will be appreciated. Thx

I personally prefer .3x.1mm ribbon as well as .4x.1mm ribbon. When I use .4x.1mm N80 ribbon I generally limit to 6ply of it as anything more I’ve found will result in duals below .1Ω.

Did the .8x.1mm fall sideways in your SSFC?

Not while building it but it did when I coiled it. I ended up heating it up and using pliers over and over to coil it. I also used twisted wire for the frames to get enuff thickness to match the ribbon. I only used 6 strands of ribbon also. I'm hoping that combined with stretching it while heating and coiling might raise the resistance a little. This was the first ribbon wire I've gotten my hands on and I guess I should have done a little more homework before ordering it lol

Haha I definitely hear ya on that. My early ribbon builds were how you say....complete and utter screw ups. My advice would be to start out with some .4x.1mm Ka1 ribbon & use single strand 28g frames. Stainless or Nichrome .4x.1mm can fall below .10Ω pretty easily and I don’t know what mod you’re using so I don’t recommend building below .10. Try out something simple like 4-6ply inside and 36g or 38g staggers and fuse. Let me know if you need any help!

Still beautiful for a first try and much cleaner then mine lol try .3 or .4 ribbon it's easier to work with and your resistance will not be so low

How do you keep your cores from either twisting or bunching up, if I may ask? I can make perfect 3 cores but anything over that ends up either bunched together or twisting so bad that 2 or 3 of the cores end up swapping positions...

Really liking this one, intense flavor, decent clouds. 2x 26g fused with 32g, paralleled with 26g+.1x.5 tiger wire, 3mm ID ohms out to .11
