Vaping in bed is a bad idea!

Has been for me at least. I wrote a post in 2014 about saliva getting into the tank (not in bed). I had just begun vaping then, and recently started again after a year not vaping. Here there other day I took my ecig with me to bed, and no problems before sleep, but when I started vaping 30 seconds after waking up, while browsing the news on my phone, laying on my side while vaping, I really blew it. It tasted worse than terrible, so I'm very careful now.

do you drool a lot? I cannot see how i would get saliva IN my tank... while yes if i tried to it would be simple, but without trying it would take some doing to go against the grain of the inhale. Do you have one of those pen styles and just keep it in your mouth?

I keep a vape on my side table and will vape before bed and right away in the morning with no problems. You need a drool cup if you're getting saliva into your tank Take a drink of water and wait a bit before you vape in the morning...maybe that would help.

Yes, I have to swallow quite often. It was my Kayfun that tasted worse than ever, so no pen style no. I have no problems with saliva other than in my bed now. In bed I vape with my cig vertically, so all drool enter the thank. :/

Thanks for the tip, but if I go for a glass of water then I want a cup of coffee, and is then up the rest of the day. A drool cup to spit in before vaping is a good idea. Thanks!

Not only that, you could fall asleep while vaping, drop the vape on the bed covers, and start . . . oh, never mind.

Nautilus Minis never leaks for me and as last weekend proved can even survive getting run over by a car! Glass didn't survive but a quick stop at the B&M for a replacement for a new one was necessary.

I assume I drooled quite a bit, because I tried to vape thru it, but gave up. Yuk! Have slept on my phone, so I can see that sleeping on the e-cig is quite uncomfortable. LOL

Are you sure it's drool? It's sounds a lot like it's condensation from the vapor that forms while vaping in the mouthpiece/drip tip, this is very common, then when you turn your device horizontally it pours out into your mouth. It can be quite nasty tasting. One thing you can do to try to lessen the problem is to keep inhaling for a second or two after you release the power button. That'll draw most of the vapor out so it can't condense in the device.

Nope never have any build up in my devices of anything other than e-Liquid flooding a coil.

Yes, very sure, as it tasted like the saliva when I woke up, only x10 worse. [emoji16]

I woke up this morning, turns out I fell asleep with my vape in my hand and my head tilted perfectly above it. So I drooled in to my drip tip. When I vaped after waking up I had gurgling noises and the vapor tasted awful. I'm pretty sure I was vaping the drool that soaked into my wick and on my coil. It was really gross. I've been trying to tough through it and keep vaping until the flavor goes back to normal but it's been over two hours and it still tastes like I'm vaping a tank full of drool. It's really yucky. Anyone else ever have this happen to them? Fall asleep, drool into drip tip right down into coil? Gonna change my coil now, haha.

I'm using the Baby Beast tank with the Alien 220w mod by SMOK for anyone curious. Cheers.
