Vaping in bed is a bad idea!

Drooling into your vape? Hard to imagine a situation where that would happen, even if you fell sleep with it in your hand...unless you snuggle down for sleep with it in your mouth??
Sorry but this one did make me chuckle [emoji6] I'm sure a few minor changes in bed vape etiquette and you shall drool vape no more.

I woke up this morning, turns out I fell asleep with my vape in my hand and my head tilted perfectly above it. So I drooled in to my drip tip. When I vaped after waking up I had gurgling noises and the vapor tasted awful. I'm pretty sure I was vaping the drool that soaked into my wick and on my coil. It was really gross. I've been trying to tough through it and keep vaping until the flavor goes back to normal but it's been over two hours and it still tastes like I'm vaping a tank full of drool. It's really yucky. Anyone else ever have this happen to them? Fall asleep, drool into drip tip right down into coil? Gonna change my coil now, haha.

I'm using the Baby Beast tank with the Alien 220w mod by SMOK for anyone curious. Cheers.

Yup Drowsy, @nocigsnomore had it happen last year. AFAIK you two are the only people to ever experience this.

I usually move my vape a little to the left, or my head a little to the right

This is what happens when you use those really wide DTs. A normal 510 and there's no way your aim would be that good.

omg my grandma had the same problem. her tank used to have more spit than juice. she'd be all, "wff? who put spit in my juice. somebody grab me my smith n wessun!" luckily she eventually learned that the problem would go away if she only vapes with her dentures in.

Well, just goes to show; you think you've heard everything there is to hear about vaping and then this happens....
I've tried to replicate dribbling into my driptip as i vape (for research, obviously) and i simply can't do it. Inhaling and expelling dribble at the same time ? OP maybe you need a tip that goes a little further into your mouth, past your lips

Uhh... For anyone thinking you need to vape with your dentures in? You do not. Good lord. In fact, in the a.m. I vastly prefer to vape with my dentures OUT, thanks to the fact that nicotine is absorbed via the mucus membranes in the mouth/nose not just lungs. And, I'm 43, and have had dentures for 10 years (long, boring, health related story). Dentures aren't wonderful by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think that dentureless vaping is going to lead to spit in your tank, LOL. Not unless you just.... Well, what do I know. All I know is, it never even OCCURRED to me that you wouldn't be able to vape denture free. That said, I vape in bed with 0 issues (also denture free) LOL, so it may be your tank? I don't fall asleep with it, but I do vape in bed and it's WAY SAFER than smoking in bed, that can lead to DEATH, not spitty tasting e-juice, heh.

For safety's sake, I should point out that falling asleep with a vape in BED, while likely FAR less dangerous than a cigarette, is NOT SMART for a variety of reasons, mainly the possible destruction of vape equipment. I'm sure, given the current climate on e-cigs if someone set themselves on fire by vaping in bed, we would have heard about it. Repeatedly. Given BT AND the current political climate in which human beings aren't allowed to decide for themselves anymore what constitutes safe and unsafe behaviors. I'm a Darwinist. I'm sorry you got spit in your tank though, LOL. Sounds like you are working on correcting the problem, which is fantastic...

If anyone starts a thread about vaping with a really bad runny nose and wondering why their ejuice looks weird, Ima go over to that other vaping
