The best part about vaping is doing away with the 599 chemical additives that are in cigarettes, 100 of which are said to aid in creating or enhancing the addiction. It probably takes a while to clear those out of your system.

I remember dreams occasionally, but not usually vividly. I do remember one particular dream that woke me up out of a dead sleep. I was in fatigues carrying an M16 and running through the jungle with the enemy chasing me. I ducked behind a tree and started firing. Just as they reached my position I woke up suddenly and it took a minute or two to get back to reality. :)

vaping never seems to keep me from falling asleep and most of my dreams are senseless jumbles in bits and pieces of unconnected scenes. I've read that it's commonly your brain sorting out the latest exposure to life's challenges.

I always try to never drink coffee after 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I switch to 3mg juice if I've been vaping something with higher nic during the day.
The side effects of many medications, but to an unusually large degree Various stimulants seem to hit me harder as I age. Old organs

I don’t remember as much as I used to, just starting to get back to how I was before my husband died.

But I had one not too long ago where I was a cop and I saw two other cops in a shootout on the street. So I pulled my gun and started firing. The guy was standing by the side of his truck, and my first shot hit the side mirror. He turned and shot at me, hit me in the left shoulder. As I fell I shot again. Everything went quiet.

I could feel my shoulder burning and the warmth of blood going down my back. One of the cops checked the suspect, the other came to me and sai “You’re alright, you’re gonna be fine”
Then my partner came over - played by Idris Elba- and I asked “But did I get him?”
And he said “Right between the eyes, sister!”

Coolest dream ever lol. And I’m not on any medication, and I almost never drink.

And that's when you find yourself awake and thankful it was a dream!

I noticed that if I wake up and take about four draws, it settles my brain and removes whatever I was dreaming about. I fall back asleep within minutes.

I always vape normally as I relax in bed for 30ish minutes.

Just seems to put my brain into mush land. It happens 1-2 times a week.

Wow! I loved that. It kind of reminds me of a reoccurring dream I used to have based on a real life experience. In RL I was a high school student taking the bus home from my summer job. While walking from the bus stop a car of older guys stopped. One of them got out, approached me, said something and grabbed my arms. All I remember was a white t-shirt and a big belly and saying something like, "God help you!" and then I ran as fast as I could all the way home. Later in life, until my late 20's, I had this dream that I was being chased by someone but I could only run in slow motion and I kept falling down. One night while being chased I ran into a saloon; like an old western saloon, right through the double hinged doors. I ran so fast that I slammed into the bar where a knife was laying on the bar. I grabbed the knife and turned around just in time to stab the man who was chasing me. The man with the white t-shirt and big belly. I never had that recurring dream again and felt as if something that had been haunting me was finally resolved.

And yes, sometimes I wake up during the night and vape:p

I remember my doctor telling me that some people experience stimulation of their alpha waves when they smoke. Meaning that it relaxes and brings your blood pressure down instead of the opposite. I said she should have never told me that:p

I do vape 24/7, but I don't use nic in my DIY because I was not addicted to it when I stopped smoking (nor for the over 50 years I smoked except maybe when I first started smoking those harsh filter-less brands as a kid). I could quite on a whim, and did so a few times during those years to not expose others to it. I'm a septuagenarian, but not since I was quite young has sleep been a given in my daily routine. So insomnia has been my way of life more often than not since around 1954/55 even though I did go thru most of my active life with my hair on fire at a dead run. I worked hard but I played even harder, was always on the go, always doing physical activities, etc. My days often ran into the wee hours of the night. Now days if I get a nap for 2-3 hours some days (that can be either during the day or night) I do get what to me is more than enough sleep. But I often go without sleep for days sometimes too. In part probably mostly due to drinking coffee by the multiple pots full 24/7 for much of those approximately 65 years years (but I've recently cut back to a single pot per day now though); in part because the 'hair on fire" days have become a thing of the past the last 10 years or so; and in part to having a plate full of issues to deal with now days so I don't do much that is physical to get tired anymore. As for dreams, I know I had them as a kid. As an adult pre sleep was more about thinking about what I had to do the next day/week/month that was coming up with work, family, friends, etc that I needed to get ready for. However, now days along that line when it comes to 'tasks' I specialize in procrastination and the path of least resistance... if it gets done it's when I get around to it, and if it doesn't it doesn't matter to me :tumble:(a benefit of choosing to live a mostly solitary life for many years now). I spend some time every day/night sitting comfortably in the dark reminiscing (that's my quiet time and it is restful). When I do fall asleep now days the reminiscing is the last thing I remember I was doing, and it's the first thing that comes to mind as I am waking up. I have a much simpler mindset now days I guess with no one but myself to fend for.
