I have a vv mod with a 1.7 dct. I've been playing around with voltage and I thought I had found my number, about 5.1

Then I was reading up on the ECF I kept on finding posts that mention that 8 watts is a sweet spot. So, i did some calculations and for my 1.7 ohm dct, that would 3.7 volts. OMG it give a much more satisfying vape. I can't even really quantify it. Its not more vape, its not more TH, it just seems better. Why is this? Power of suggestion or is there some science behind this?

EDIT:
I do think I'm getting a better flavor, but again science???? (or at least anecdotal evidence)

Juice tastes differently at different watts. 8 watts may taste great for one juice, but may give an unsatisfying vape for another. It also boils down to personal preference as well. I like a warmer vape, so 10 watts is my personal sweet spot. Don't be afraid to test out different voltages, and maybe you will find something that you like even better!

Happy vaping!
