LOVE it! I didn't care for the lack of throat hit in nude nic, so it's down to what you want out of it. MFS has good throat hit, a nice taste unflavored. Nude nic was (for me) tasteless; some like that; with not much throat hit.

I'm praying for your Gramps. And for your family.
Thank you so much and @Amlowe for your thoughts.

And the bad news continues, our little darling Dinah (our pomeranian) is not feeling well at all. She has the runs and is now yelping as she goes. She just lays by my side all day. Trying to give her comfort. Well it will get better I hope this passes soon. Talk to you all later.

Oh, no.
If your vet isn't open there's an emergency clinic in Hagerstown, right off Maugan's Ave, easy to get to.
Go!
we had to take our little Luna Luna there to say goodbye last Christmas day.

I also pray for puppers. Please let me know how she's doing.

Oh, I thought you were speaking metaphorically! Oh lawd, sorry to hear it brother! I had some developing on radar once, and on the Docs advice, I got DOWN with some Cranberry juice. Must have worked, never felt a thing. Too late? I hope you don't suffer!
lemon juice in water (and tincture of cleavers (the herb, not the butchering varietal)) aboth help break em up... (cranberry probably similar, and it stimulates the kidneys)... aloe juice to 'grease the chute'... and, given my history, non-narcotic pain meds... it'll sort... Tennessee has a ridiculously high content of limestone in the water table, which doesn't help, lol - but again, have dealt with em a couple times, so i know what to do... just didn't realize what symptoms were pointing to (really thought it was just something I ate that was transforming into an alien lifeform in my gizzard)

skully, really hope the pup is okay, brother - that can be so heart-rending to deal with (they don't know why they hurt, they just want you to fix it...) - is she on a broad spectrum flea/ worm monthly? with the uncommonly warm weather, if she has been drinking any standing water outside, could be something like lepto - treatable, for sure, just messy in the interim...

For any NY Times fans, they have a good deal on the electronic version, through this weekend. 8 weeks free then 50% off for one year.

It's officially for old subscribers, but they'll tend to honor whatever deals are available for anyone who asks nicely :)

(I was told they couldn't honor it since I was just at the tail end of another promotion. I politely said I'd cancel then, and they honored it -- I'm good to Feb 2017 now. I don't read the Times much, but DW likes it, which is what matters :) )

No I think that she got new treats. Her digestive track is not the greatest. I also think it is the holiday stress. So hopefully getting back on track on her regimen will be the trick. She is still trying to get belly rubs so things can hopefully be on the mend.
that's excellent.
If she's wanting belly rubs, she's not too awfully bad. I'd still take the petpo-pedilyte route Ashley suggested above. Watch her closely and keep the vet in mind if needed.

I give my dogs pumpkin purée for ......... Sounds weird but that's what my vet recommended. A couple of tablespoons mixed in with their food.
We've done that a lot in the past. Works very well.

I like to open a can : DO NOT use "pumpkin pie filling", use ONLY canned pumpkin with no other ingredients: and freeze it in ice cube trays, a dose in each little hole. then you can put the frozen ones in a baggie and give one with each meal. Our dogs loved ice cubes for a snack, so ate it willingly. if she doesn't, just thaw at room temp. don't microwave it.

Fresh pumpkin works too, if you have some on hand.
