    Fortunately, I still had a few frozen leftovers from last year's Thanksgiving dinner. I found some frozen dressing, a small frozen brocolli casserole, green beans and a frozen sweet potato dish...started everything heating up in the microwave, on a hot plate, and also used a small counter-top convection oven. While all that was thawing/warming, I cleaned the glass and food out of the oven; a terrible mess, and such a waste.

    Dinner was delayed by about 2 hours, and it turned out OK....but it WAS the worst Thanksgiving I have ever experienced! :evil:

    On a positive note, I VAPED a lot today, and that's a heck-of-a-lot better than smokin'! :vapor:

    Nice story about your juice! Generosity is alive and well!

    Thanksgiving meal was a disaster!

    I was cooking dinner for all my family, and all 3 racks in my oven were filled with pans of dressing, squash souffle' and brocolli casserole. (The brocolli casserole was in a PYREX baking dish on the middle rack.) About an hour before dinner was to be served, the PYREX baking dish EXPLODED, sending shards of broken glass into every dish! All was a complete and total loss. :ohmy:

    The turkey had been cooked overnight and was resting, so the bird was safe, as well as the gravy for the dressing, but that was it. The mess in the oven was HORRIFYING!! YIKES!!!

    I would enjoy a GA 'get together', and will do my best to get there if my work schedule allows it.

    Hope your day was good! BTW - I read you had ordered some juice. Did you get anything good, or have you got it yet??

    A friend of my daughter's chain smokes like I used to do. My kid doesn't, and even she complains about him. I can smell her when she comes through the door and heads straight for the shower. Her and I both are glad that I quit. Hubby used to chew but I got him onto vaping. He never smoked but he even said he feels better.

    Hopefully, you can get your nephew to give it up also. The 510 is what got me to quit and see a new light. Good little compact unit. I still have a couple of batteries and a charger for when I don't feel like dragging around a big mod. It's perfect for him to at least give it a try. I hope it goes well. Nothing is worse than having to figure ecigs out on your own but at least he has you to help him. I wasn't so lucky until I found this forum. I struggled but was determined not to give up. A couple of ECF vets tucked me under their wings and helped me to understand everything. I know that's why I try to help out as many people as I can.

    Sadly, unless ECF implements a driver's license/state ID program to check your age, anyone can get on here. Yes, I thought I was "cool" when I started smoking. 27 years later I'll tell you I was an idiot but thankfully, I got away from them.

    Glad to hear you stepped down. I was a 4 PAD smoker. Started at 36mg and now down to 18. I can't stand to be around smokers anymore. It's not that they do it, I hate the smell it leaves on me.

    I would love to know where these kid's parents are! I was thinking the same about his age. Did you read his other forum posts? You can tell he doesn't have a clue what's going on.
