I have the zeus and themis on the way. Wish I could just buy the mesh deck for the themis. See how they compare to the obs engine. The other engine versions (nano?) were disappointing but the regular engine has been my main/only rta for a long time now. It just works. -
How to offset bitterness of PG?
Tried straight PG/VG (40/60 now) and the bitter/dryness is there in the base. Agreed that flavors can be dialed back with more PG. Also that the lack of sweetness from more VG could be the issue. Haven't added any sweetners yet. Still playing around with mixes. The PG is brand new from NR. VG...- pt91

I have a few additives I can try. Need to check my box tonight. I tend to add a little EM to most of my mixes. Generally I vape toffee/carmel or strawberry cake mixes.- pt91

How to offset bitterness of PG?
Due to some VG issues I have been having I changed my base to 50/50 instead of my usual max VG. In all of my recipes so far I am getting a bitterness that is pretty strong. I don't normally add any sweeteners but I am curious if others are in the same boat and if your adjusted your mixes to...- pt91

If you mean the infancy going back 7-10 years I disagree. Also devices really weren't capable of producing much to see. Also there were far less vapors so I very rarely saw anyone vaping inside an establishment little on outside. Today the number of people and power of devices has greatly...- pt91

OBS Engine Nano
The Nano internal airflow direction/type is very different than the earlier ones. It is side instead of top. That was a let down for me but others like it.- pt91

How long did it take you to convert to e-cigs and why?
Two days. That was back in 2009 so the NIC percentage I used was much higher since the vapor production was much weaker than today.- pt91

OBS Engine NANO RTA
pretty much tried all wicks over the last 8 years except hemp. I test them the same way. wick and try with unflavored. Unfortunately the most flavor free have been the worst at moving liquid. Organic cotton has been where I have settled. DGD works for now. -

big box from Sally beauty supply. I spent a lot of time researching rayon. A big part of my job is fibers. The processing was the big question when it comes to rayon. I will research a bit more on my next trip overseas. My tongue seems to be way more sensitive than most unfortunately. -

Love the way it wicks but tastes like nut shells to me. Even after a day or two.
