What rayon are you using? Mine is cellucotton via Amazon, haven't gotten any odd flavor, even with very subtle mixes.

big box from Sally beauty supply. I spent a lot of time researching rayon. A big part of my job is fibers. The processing was the big question when it comes to rayon. I will research a bit more on my next trip overseas. My tongue seems to be way more sensitive than most unfortunately.
pretty much tried all wicks over the last 8 years except hemp. I test them the same way. wick and try with unflavored. Unfortunately the most flavor free have been the worst at moving liquid. Organic cotton has been where I have settled. DGD works for now.
By any chance did the box itself have a bit of a smell? I've heard once or twice where it sounds like a box might have been stored near something else (luck of the draw).
Anywho, I used the Nano/18650M combo tonight when the wife and I went to a basket (Snow White - excellent performance [emoji5]). Sometimes nice looking and no lights is called for.

Please show your build from all angles. I cant get mine to taste good, and i tried almost everything, i just cant get as good flavor as i can get from ammit or limitless rdta +.
I think people who says nano flavor is on top, they havent tried well built ammit. I usualy do DIY straberry + cheesecake (TPA) liquid, and with ammit it feels like i am eating that straberry cheesecake. With nano not even close..
Some of us are just spoiled with taste, so i think thats why we cant get the flavor as we want it to be.
But still, i love the design of nano and i will keep useing it.
I'm sure the people who find better flavor from this Nano over the Ammit have tried everything with the Ammit. Some tanks just won't work for some...
I need to find someone with a nano I can borrow. I'm not really a single coil guy but I would like to play with one.

I still use the Ammit. After trying the smaller coil in the nano, I put a 2.5 in the Ammit instead of a 3mm and it is giving better flavor than in the past. I always used s 3mm in the Merlin and it was great.

I've been through the ringer with trying different types of cotton, I've settled with using either this or muji. Both are good in different ways but nothing beats rayon in wicking. If I ever have a problem with wicking I just throw some rayon in and good to go. Flavor isn't the best but it's on par at least with most commercial cotton like cotton bacon, cotton candy etc. not quite as good as kgd and ofc nothing beats muji on flavor.
If you've ever tried fiber freaks original, this stuff is almost as good and way cheaper.
After break in which can be sped up by method mentioned earlier I don't taste anything but my juice.

Fasttech and Gearbest have pemade coils. There are alot of places to buy premade coils. I would suggest getting an Avidartisan Daedulus kit from efun.top and make your own.
