Once the juice goes below the clear window, is it time to refill? When I tilt it, the juice is still there, but as soon as it has dropped below the window, there is a slight gurgle and the vapor production has decreased. Is it normal?
Noalox is usually used for aluminum connectors. Kayfun's body is stainless steal, but in any case, I do not think it is a good idea. Even if you are very careful, there is a possibility of it getting into your juice.
Has it always been leaking from day one? What happens if you fill it and let it seat in a vertical position without vaping it? Does it start leaking right away? If I remember correctly, you said earlier that it leaks from the air hole. Is the screw in there kind of loose? If it is, maybe try to...
I have never ordered anything outside U.S.A., too, but I have placed two orders, one from Russia and one from UK and did not have any issues. You would not need to do anything. You just place the order and wait until it is delivered to your door. And as far as I know, it is not DHL. Inside U.S...
Perhaps there is a pressurization issue, but from my limited knowledge, if it gurgles, there is an issue with the way it is filled.
My 3.1 ES gurgled (but did not leak) every time I tried filling it from the top cap, and the collector tank had a pretty good amount of juice in it. Once I started...
I think it is just a matter of time until we can get a glass tank for the Kayfun using 3D printing.
Let's print some glass tanks.
Even without 3D glass printing, what they can do now is to make a version of the tank the same way Kanger's ProTank is made, i.e., the glass part is not...
Do you torch the wick at a maximum temperature?
At first, I also almost ordered the Benzomatic butane (3x refined), but I did a bit of reading and decided to try Vector 5x Refined Premium Butane Gas, lots of good reviews and plenty of inventory on Ebay.
I changed my mind in the last second and ordered Blazer GB4001-02 Stingray Butane Torch. According to the description, it says that flame temperature gets up to 2,500 degrees F. Is that safe to use on the silica and wire?
Do not force them all the way down. Pull them up, screw in the chimney cylinder and then tack them in to the sides so that they lay below the inner thread.
3 inches.
After a quick torch with a regular lighter, I have noticed that the wick feels a bit harder (not as soft) to the touch. Is that normal or am I just imagining things? Also, parts of the wick blackened and when I tried to wipe it with my fingers, it transferred to my fingers, which does not seem...
It is easier to fill it from the top, especially if you do not use the plastic window, because you can see exactly where the juice is and also because you do not need to use another bottle.
The fill hole is very small and you need to really push that plastic tip in there. I am just afraid...
In the video, when Sergey filled it from the top, it also leaked, but from this video (fast forward to 29 minutes, 30 seconds), I was under impression that his method does not produce a leak, but he does not check the collector tank to see if there is any juice in there.
