I have the IGO W the original. They are pretty damn good as is. But the new ones especially the 2 and 3 look to be better. I also like the Trident. I"ve looked at but not used an IGO M. From the look the W is better still.
Actually and it's not a big point we us silica wicks not fiberglass. Fiberglass has nasty stuff in it that would not be good for us. Fiberglass has other compounds in it. I believe also that Silica will handle higher temperatures. Cotton is a better wick material but it does not last long...
If you don't mind spending $70.00 I'd get a No Logo DNA 30 mod. I just ordered one for $68.00 plus shipping. This is a pre-order but they are amazing. I don't sub ohm but i do use dual coil mods and having one that will go above 15 watts is nice. THE DNA mod will go where ever you want...
Tobh holes are not right. Go with it but plan on drilling out or adding holes. I do like the Trident's. Don't get a copper atty. It's a reactive material Stainless steel is better for an atomizer. I don't have the Igo w2 and 3 also look good. If i get a Tobh it wll be knowing i need...
The PT 2's and up will take a standard drip tip. I like plastic tips for them because when I drop my mod and if it hits tip first and you have a metal head the mod and atty are likely to suffer but if it's a plastic tip the tip will be the thing that breaks (most of the time). Delrin or POM...
You will be at 10.5 amps at 4.2 volts so it will be within the specs for that battery. That battery is rated 30amps max continuous current. Which you will be well with in that amperage.
Check Fat Daddies they carry a lot of parts. Also a-z vapor and kidney punch carry a lot of parts. If that fails you can buy an Oring from here. Metric B90 orings - Orings and More
Hope this helps.
I think the negative post is a pressed fit. I"d take and clean the atty good then put some JB Weld on the neg post and push it back in. Then let it set overnight. They do make some electrical epoxy also that may work. JB Weld is my go to glue for a lot of things.
It's probably because the voltage drop is less on the Nemesis. Copper is the better conductor of all of them. Try upping the resistance a bit next time. Also on the kayfun if you tip it on its side some they will often feed some extra juice into the channels. Do not crowd the two trays...
Cotton wick is great except it does not last. One dry hit and you have a charcoal wick it also clogs quicker i think. That is why i went with dual coil silica ekowool or twick. Twick is a hybrid of a cotton core and ekowool shell. You make it with ekowool and thread an organic unbleached...
You have an open in the top coil. The individual coils are 4ohms each and when you have two in parallel the total resistance drops to 2ohms. If a coil goes bad your total resistance doubles.
Here is a spreadsheet with some ohms calculators in it along with other cool stuff.
The Kayfun is IME the best as it is a BC. Bottom coils wick better IME. But you can rebuild the Protank heads including the PT3. Best build so far has been on a Kafun 3.1 with a widened juice channel with a dual wick. Wow momma. Look up kayfun shot gun coil.s
There are a bunch that claim up to 5000mha but most are exaggerated. Go with a Sony, Panasonic or efest and you will find 2500mah plus up to 3000. I don't trust claims of 4000-5000. When i investigated some i found they did not test out to those ratings. Go with a 18650 with at least 2600...
Which kind of AA battery are you using? My fave BCC is the Protank 3. I like the PT because the heads are easy to rebuild and work IMO as well as the Aspire heads which are not easy to rebuild and are more expensive. Nice thing about the PT3 is its dual coil and you can get a lot of vapor...
Oh I love my pyrex like glass tube and SS base. I found out that you can buy 9mm pyrex tube and a tube cutter and then stick the 9mm pyrex tub in a Delrin drip tip insulator and use it. Have not made one yet but next month that may be a project.
