    Interested in DIY

Definitely watch some you tubes because you will learn a lot. And if you want to make Hawk Sauce and save a lot, you can start out by buying the flavoring of Hawk Sause from Mt. Baker Vapor way cheaper than their premade and make it yourself. It's an easy way to get your feet wet in diy'ing...

Longevity of TFA and various flavor Co.

I'm sure the glass bottles and fridge won't hurt, but I don't think it's a must. Truthfully, once you have Vaped awhile, if you are like me, you get to where you only like a few good recipes all the time and you end up giving away the rest of the flavors you know you will probably never use. Lol.

    questions re vaping/dripping

I tend to take long slow and deep hits. I never really noticed how long they were but just checked and it was 6.6 seconds. Lol. I'm using a .6 ohm dual at 23 watts. Usually I blow it out while my ecig is still in my mouth, and do a second long hit and then I'm satisfied.

Longevity of TFA and various flavor Co.

Some are in plastic and some are in glass, whatever I received them in. Just used some caramel original yesterday in a plastic bottle that's over a year old and it was fine. Can't swear every flavor is at its finest but so far I haven't come across a flavor gone bad and I've been diy'ing a few...

    questions re vaping/dripping

Caro123, when I use my istick, I set my watts for whatever equals 3.7 volts and that is usually where I like it. You can see the small voltage reading on the screen as you adjust it and try to get it to whatever wattage equals 3.7 volts. Some prefer a higher wattage but that's usually a good...

Do higher vg liquids burn slower?

I have a couple Isticks also and each high VG juice is different. Some flavorings are thicker than others so it can vary depending on what flavored juice you are using. I've had an 80/20 VG/PG juice not wick and give me dry hits, but I'm sure there could be other thinner 80/20 juices that might...

Longevity of TFA and various flavor Co.

I'm not an expert but I have flavors that are a couple years old and are just as good as when I first bought them. I do keep them inside a cabinet and run my a.c. Steadily year round though in my humid neck of the world. Lol. Highly sweet flavors like cotton candy might not last as long but even...

    questions re vaping/dripping

I have some great sub ohm tanks but haven't used them much and went back to dripping. The flavor has always been better for me by dripping. And I don't consider myself trying to be a cloud chaser but do love a .5 ohm coil at about 25 watts or so. My favorite flavors never taste as good in a tank...

    More vapor/nicotine

I always preferred flat wire for making a single micro coil and you are correct, at least from what I experienced. But when I started making dual coils, it became too hard to work with and feed two coils through the same hole so I had to use a different wire. But for single coils, the flat wire...

    Adding Flavoring

Also, I use a butterscotch in one recipe with a few other flavors and love the butterscotch at 3% because I add others to it, while I've seen others post they use the same butterscotch at 20%. But since I add other flavors to it, the 3% works best in my particular recipe. So it will vary on...

    Adding Flavoring

Some flavors are good at 3% and some could be as good as 35% so it's always different depending on the brand of flavoring you use and the type of flavors in your recipe. My recipes vary in all different percentages. Like Danny said, when in doubt, start out low in percentages because you can...

Do higher vg liquids burn slower?

VG definitely doesn't burn off as fast as a thinner PG based eliquid. But if you are using a tank, try to stay no higher than 75% VG juices or you may get dry hits because the juice won't wick through the tiny holes leading to the coil as easily due to its thickness.

Advice on how well this would work?

I prefer 26. I guess it depends on what ohms you want your coil to be but 26 works good for me.

    Weird Taste when vaping DIY

Yep, flavors change depending on what you are using them in. That is why I prefer to drip because my flavors are not as good in a tank. And definitely lower the VG in your juice if you are using a tank because the thicker juice will be a lot harder to wick.

    Help the new guy

If you are into fruits, you will definitely want to get some flavors that soften them because some can be quite sour or tart, like marshmallow, vanilla swirl, Bavarian cream, sweetener, cotton candy. Those are samples of what I am referring to. Good luck! It's a lot of fun and way easier than...

Help a ecf vet get into DIY juice

For easy mixing you can try a flavor from Mt. Baker Vapor and just mix it with whatever base you want to use. They are easy because they already have mixed several flavors into one and it's ready to use. The only problem with them is that you may need to use a higher percentage on some of their...

    Noob at Diy

You are better off buying VG and PG separately if you are planning on making flavored eliquids, which is what I'm going to assume you will want to do. The reason being is that the flavors you add may be PG based which will change your overall percentage of PG/VG, and your nic base will also...
