I actually meant that as in I was gonna buy some .22 gauge. I have .26 gauge rn, and it works pretty well but im trying to find the best way to chase clouds lmao

Research and experimenting seem to be the way.
Juice , rba , watts , wraps , wicking , technique, can all play a part.

Go into the RDA forum and look up the Hobo thread, lots of good info. It really is a mid sub ohm atty, not good at all below .4 as it gets very hot, and the space is very limited. I would`nt suggest 22, its more of a 28 or 26 atty. Its insulator is right at the coils and too much heat and you`ll melt it for sure, mine is deformed a little bit from trying to do a .2 twisted on it that I scraped for that reason.

Lastly, its not the most cleanly atty, it does leak a fair amount due to its design, so sitting on top of a regulated box may not be perfect combo.

I think you're going to really like the Sigelei 100. I don't have a Hobo RDA, but from looking at pictures of it I think it's not the best vapor production RDA that's out there. I would also suggest not going as big as 22 gauge Kanthal. You have 26 gauge and I would add 24. Twisted dual 26 gauge wire gets you to roughly the same mass and surface area per coil as the 22 gauge will, so you'll have three options with 26 and 24 as opposed to two with 26 and 22 and there's a big gap between 26 and 22.

Have fun and best of luck with it :thumb:

OP seems game to wrap his own, why throw your money away? On top of that, I'd need to be pretty damn comfortable with the person rolling my coils before I put my safety in their hands. Working in/owning a vape shop does not automatically qualify one as an expert. Plenty of anecdotal evidence of that on these very forums.
