    I haven't had to notch the cap at all ... wicks fine BUT I did have to trim the wicks as they were folded over onto themselves when fully assembled and didn't seem to be wicking properly.

    I have an Ego-T 650 battery with a Vision Vivi Nova Mini. HOWEVER I am going to say to go with an Ego Variable Voltage (VV) battery as I will be upgrading mine as well soon. Make sure you get the coupling to cover the battery threads for a clean look. If you want links PM me.
