You told your wife you were allergic to her??
Tried that too. Nothing works. She's on to me.

I tried that too. Had to eat with a straw for a week.

I had to pay off a ENT Doc to tell my wife we couldn't have cats.
Thanks for the opinions.
Gotta find a gun.... I hate them, but am rethinking that position because of that blasted dog! Wouldn't be half bad if they didn't leave the window open....
Cats and barking dogs aside... I cleaned the head of my ViVi Nova last night for the first time since using it. I am using a dark/thickish Vanilla in it and noticed the taste becoming a little "off" so took it apart, rinsed, patted dry, dry burned, filled and vaped. Took a few toots before the flavor started coming back (water/condensation) but it's still vaping like a champ. Using the 2.0 head on it. I can't wait until my next paycheck so I can pick up a few more of these ... they totally outperform the clearos I am using.
I noticed in one of PBusardo tutorials that he mentions cutting notches in the silicone cap thing that goes over the wick.( Looks like triangle notches)
He said it lets the juice wick easier.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I can't wait to get mine!....Doing the stalk the mailman routine that has become the focal point of most vapors, so I hear. LOL
I haven't had to notch the cap at all ... wicks fine BUT I did have to trim the wicks as they were folded over onto themselves when fully assembled and didn't seem to be wicking properly.
I will trim mine when it comes apart tonight, i can see how it could help. Thanks

You shouldn't have to notch the silicone sleeve unless (in some cases) you are vaping 100% VG. If you're not having trouble with wicking (i.e., no dry hits), then I wouldn't monkey with the notches.

And that works 90+% of the time. Just a good warm water rinse, let dry, then dry burn. Sometimes people go overboard with the alcohol and repeated rinses and soaks. I'm not saying that is unneeded, but it doesn't need to be done every time (unless you are vaping a strong naturally extracted tobacco or similar). But, to each their own.
I love this forum. Honestly. I have never had success cleaning out and reusing stuff it's always been disposable. I love that I can successfully clean these things and have them still be useable.
