Yep,, I even asked Drew if it will come off and he said it would be VERY difficult to do so,, No problem, I'm actually happy with it..... Mine also has the flashing screen,, described to me by Brandon as a continous "Systems Check" .. Not a big deal either... I'm Loving My Darwin, but I still... -

I have a 510 to 510 adapter on my Darwin AND a all black 3 inch gooseneck and I never take it off,, because when the arm is down and the darwin is off, I just bend the gooseneck and my atty/tank whatever is away from the darwin, works very well in my opinion -
