I think I do. Do you leave the metal mesh thingie on there too?
Yup... just remove part of the wick. The problem with the wick is that the vapor has to go thru it... so it blocks flavor/vapor. But the wick through the coil gets saturated w/ juice to vape, so it serves a pretty crucial purpose. Figured this out throught experience... ruined a few before I figured it out!
Only other thing I do is (if a non-cisco) rinse with hot water, blow it out, rinse again, blow it out (thoroughly, you get the idea)... to get rid of the primer. That stuff is gross! Then, let it sit overnight to dry (on a fan if you can) or, if you need it immediately, aim a blow dryer down the atty for 8-10 minutes... then it's perfectly dry and ready to go
I just messed with another random LR atty and I am not sure what brand it was but I pushed the wick out and it was only sitting on one side of the bridge so I guess that it was already out of the coil somehow
