Of course I'll post pics, silly! last update sounded like it shouldn't be much longer at all. How about your wait? Haven't been on that thread.

Yup and he broke the rules and jumped the gun so beers are on CG when you come east!

BTW - The Darwin set off the fire alarm at the Holiday in in downtown Helsinki! We have all seen posts about those damned things and I have never seen one that said they triggered a alarm. I took a huge hit when I got up at 3:30am and blew it upward. Well the alarm was right there. The damned fire dept had to come shut it off. I did some quick thinking and plugged in the water pot for the coffee and left the lid opened so they attributed it to that. Really did not want to expalin the whole vape thing at that ungodly hour! Anyway vape can trigger an alarm.

I think it is only a certain type but who wants to gamble. I will blow vape towards floor from now on when in a hotel room and down the sink in the plane! I have vaped many many times in planes and hotels without an issue so maybe this one was using optical instead of ionization detection.

A friend on another thread told me to hide the vape by blowing it down my top. Now, I don't think it hid much vape, but it did look like my pectorals were on fire. And I looked like I was sniffing my arm pits.

You know you're trying it right now, aren't you. ;)

I got a baster from WallyWorld...cut the needle down and tie wrapped a rubber mouthpiece to it. Shoot a couple or syringes of hot water thru them and they work great after they dry out. Shoot the water out thru the connector so the crud doesnt go back into the filler.....also work great on attys

heliguy, make sure that the little center tube is straight. In my early carto experiments, I would run a paper clip down the side, and fill so that it ran down the paper clip. It helped it fill much faster, similar to using a syringe and filling from the bottom up. I got the little center tube bent, once that has a kink in it, it will restrict the airflow and make it draw very hard. Get a paper clip or one of your vaping tools to gently pull it over and get it in the center of the shell. This is best done when the filling is wet (or at least not stiff and hard). You might also take a very small paper clip and gently make sure you can push it through the air tube. Sometimes you can find a little dried clump of gunk there. Be gentle poking around the wire there.

I recently made a Cartomizerfillenator and it works very well. It was part of a contest for a method that blind people could fill cartos. For filling it may be a little wasteful of a few drops if you wind up with juice on the outside that is wiped away by a napkin. It also works very well for cleaning. If you use 97% alcohol it will cut the gunk better than water. Water in the carto fluff can also mold easily, and that is bad to vape, alcohol won't mold, and it evaporates out better than water. For flushing, the larger the better (baster would be great), for every inch the plunger moves more liquid is moved. For filling a smaller syringe is better. It's easy to blow the carto off on the 'exhale' of the syringe and would be prone to splashing juice. It is kinda cool being able to fill a weeks worth of cartos in five minutes, though.

Had no idea I was helping anyone, but it's very cool to read that I actually was : )

This really is a fantastic device... I'm in love!

Man, I wonder if Evolv is working on some sort of bottom-fed Darwin... that would be amazing...
