Very similar to the G2. I dont see much difference, if any, regarding the boards performance. Its definitely a love hate relationship :) . I'd be surprised if the tech behind the board gets any better than it is now. Personally, I dont mind the tinkering. Once dialed in, it really is a great vape.

Yes...I did downgrade one of the units to the old firmware.

I DO find it harder to calibrate my Claptons with the newer firmware. Hohm Tech adjusted the sensitivity of the curve. I find the TC to run hotter with the 2.4.7 firmware. I would also add, setting the wattage too high in Kanthal TC will give undesirable results. I set my wattage as I would if...

THe g2 really does produce a good vape! I am sold. For me....as I stated earlier, I love the fact that I can put a cap on the heat of claptons while getting really quick ramp up time in TC mode. The quirkiness of the device and settings have become less noticeable the more I use it.

100% agree with the pulse rating. Should be advertised/labeled using the 20 A continuous rating!! As for the price I believe they are two for 20. I personally use the brown LG's and Sony's. Both fine performers and reasonably priced
