Just thought I'd report an interesting finding...interesting to me anyway. This applies to my Apollo tank and original version Vivi Nova. When I first received both of these, I dry burned them, primed the coils, Vaped them, hated them, rinsed them off with hot water, air dried them for a day...- carpedebass

Lots of great info here. Seriously considering the cheesecloth alternative. My SRT came with a broken coil wire, so I have some replacement ordered from GV. Thing is, they were out of the 2.5 ohm, so I got the 3. Shouldn't I just be able to cut the coil wire on the 3 to make it lower...- carpedebass

Well, I'm vaping my Apollo at 3.4 on the Rocket so for a normal PV, it's probably about the same as vaping at 4 volts. That Rocket is just SO hot.- carpedebass

Ok, I know the SRT is not an alpha product, but the Rocket is, or was. I trimmed the plastic from the connection end of my rocket in hopes that it would fire the SRT. It fired it once, then quit. Anyone able to get the SRT to work with the Rocket? If so, how?- carpedebass

Not yet. Honestly I may be over my head with this thing. I'm not much of an electrical guru. I was hoping it would work without tinkering. The coil (wire part that wraps around the wick) is not connected to the center post. I tried to screw the little washer down onto it, but still no joy...- carpedebass

I far prefer the old stardust to these. When they work, they're good. But I'm so tired of dry hits. I have been told that the dry hits will eventually stop, but mine hasn't in over a week.- carpedebass
