@BJ. I was wondering what the burn tolerance of the ramie is compared to the hemp. I had moved from cotton to hemp because it stood up to heat way better. How's the ramie compare?

Stock Kanger 2.5 coils? Don't ever dry burn them, you are guaranteed to have a burnt taste. It's a silica wick and they do burn. In fact the only three wick types you can dry burn are Nextel, SS or ceramic. Cotton, hemp, etc, all burn.
Either throw used ones out and buy replacement heads or...

As a DIY'er I have pretty much stayed within the 15% of flavoring on any of my mixes. I have heard some DIY'ers use as much as 40% flavoring or more (Wow!)
