This lounge just opened up a few days ago. I stopped in there today on my lunch break to check the place out since they're right down the street. They're still building it out but from what's already there it seems like it'll...
I don't post much, but I am all too familiar with Jack's antics here. I will truly miss seeing his posts very much - they always managed to bring a smile to my face. I don't know what else to say other than that I'm deeply saddened reading this news and wish the best for his family and friends. :(
It might. Only one way to find out :p
Only thing I'd be concerned about is the fact the the insulator is rubber instead of a hard plastic like the Phoenix v4. And that the base of the center post on the igo-s is really wide and you might risk it shorting against the side.
The octopus is the Smok RDA, which is maybe twice the size as the Phoenix v4 / ERA clone. To get it on a Reo, you would need an adapter because it wouldn't fit in the drip well and I don't even know if it can be modified to bottom feed. (don't have one, and only seen one in person once)
I got OKC's fatty bottom feed modification for my fatty v2 when I was at vapefest. I also picked up the post upgrade as well.
The bottom feed mod works great. I bet it would be easy to modify yourself. Just need to press out the insulator and sand two sides down flat to allow for a passage for...
Glad it's working out for everyone so far :)
Just got a new button and spring for my grand on friday and since then, I've admittedly been vaping solely with my new ERA. I'm thinking I'll give the Phoenix v4 some love later and try to build a dual coil in it some time soon.
My main concern with...
Looks like the price on these is dropping.
$6.49 @ Cheapie Dripper (RDA) - Sun-Vapers.com
$5.49 @ http://www................../Phoenix-V4-Rebuildable-dripper_p_191.html
It was working fantastically all day. Juice was feeding alright, maybe a little bit on the tight side, and all the excess juice was sucked back down the tube no problem.
Then I came home and found my long-awaited bottom-fed ERA waiting for me in my mailbox, set it up, and clumsily shorted the...
I'm in a co-op for one of these on a different site already. There's no official images of the insides yet, but apparently it uses a CE2 ceramic cup like the killer does, so hopefully its easily rebuildable. I'll report back when I finally get one in my hands.
I think theres an active co-op still taking signups.
If that fails, hoosier vapes is selling them for 10 bucks, so it's not bad either way. :p
1/6th is right around 1.5mm which is what I have most of my stuff drilled out to. Definitely going to widen this airhole at some point. Even at the...
No idea if the parts are interchangeable. I should have a bottom feeding ERA 1.5 coming to me in the very near future though.
I haven't modified the airhole (yet). I think it's 1mm by default. I would like it a lot better at 1.4mm I think. Wish I had a drill.
To get the positive post out, I...
Just got home and found some Phoenix v4's waiting for me in my mailbox.
Took one out and pressed out the center post and insulator:
Then, I took a dremel and cut a channel into the insulator. Leaving a little bit of material still there near the base of the insulator. (I didn't cut all...
