I'm in the same boat as you. Vapage told me that they don't sell it and can't get it. It only comes in the kit. Pretty ridiculous that they can't get a part for their own device.

I think I am in the minority here, but I started with the XL and then got a 2.0 and barely use the XL at all anymore. The XL feels absolutely huge now. I am thinking about selling my XL and getting a VV/VW device.

With the Shifu atty, how many drags/hits/vapes/etc do you get after you wet the atty? I am doing the recommended method from Vapage which is the tilt, wait for bubble, tilt back and squeeze the bottle. With this method and the 2.0 ohm atty I get about 10 four second drags before I get a dry...

Yeah, the 1.5 attys are significantly warmer. A little too warm for me but it seems to be a favorite among many vapers.

I jump back and forth between the 1.8 silo and the 2.0 hybrid and have never had this. I fill up the carto manually before I hit it and it just works. Since you are priming it I'm guessing you have a bad batch. I can't answer your 2nd questions because I am still new to this and have only used...
