After 5 months with my two 20w sticks, they both look and work as good as new. Had the 30w since Jan.21st and it also looks and works great. I love these things!

Well the Melo has still not yet arrived anywhere in Canada so I recently picked up a Smok VCT and an eGo1 2.5ml. I accidentally chose the Smok VCT X2 kit which comes with a dual .4 ohm coil, instead of asking for the X1 kit with the .5 single coil. I'm a mouth-to-lung vaper only and all these sub ohm coils don't really work well for that; they take longer than higher resistance coils to cook the juice, then suddenly pump it out heavy and hot, particularly when you normally take short drags with restricted airflow, which is what I do.
I've still managed to make the Smok .4ohm coil somewhat work for me as long as I vape it like a pipe; meaning a couple quick primer drags to get the juice cooking, then one more short drag of full vapor. However I'm looking forward to trying their 1.2ohm single when they become available. 'Nature Vapes' already makes a re-wick-able 1.4ohm single for the Smok VCT tanks; Martyn Parker did a review on it in the Smok and he thinks it's a fabulous upgrade. I think the resistance will work well for my mouth-to-lung style.

The eGo1 is a very small and stealthy tank that hold 2.5ml with good flavour. I'm using it with the optional 1ohm coils and it works well enough for my style of vaping. It still needs to be used on the 30w stick because it sometimes dips down to .9ohm which the 20w won't fire; but while it hovers around 1 - 1.1ohm, it works well on the 20w. I have to keep the voltage on the 20 at the minimum 3v and it still hits hard but still no burn. On the 30w I keep it around 3.5 - 3.7v for a more comfortable vape.

But I must say, the Silo Lite is still the best vape of any tanks I've tried.

Enough of my rambling. Here's how they look on the 30w and 20w. I love the look of the Smok VCT on the 30w, and the eGo1 on the 20w is a tiny setup;

... Lighting is a key element to good photography. Additional lighting to highlight the detail of your setups would benefit greatly in contrasting them against the dark background; but you would need a camera that allows adjustment of exposure, otherwise the silvery parts may appear too bright or overexposed.

The bottom pic has much more balanced lighting, however the angle of the shot (slightly downward) combined with the focal length of the lens (wide angle) makes the tank look bigger on the Istick than it actually is.

Hope you don't mind my comments; I've tutored many folks on photography, and the urge to offer advise is hard to resist.

Thanks for taking the time with the comments.
Just a cell phone camera here, so not many options. I used to do a bit of mild photography back in the days of dodging and burning.
The first 2 was trying to have it 'floating' in black, no background (like the 1 u did). Too much light, the background appeared. Would have to spend more time on setup for more light I guess.
The 3rd pic is on the same table as the first 2, so you can see the setup I DID do for the first 2. :laugh:

Would love to hear your setup for this shot (how did you get the black background). Again, beautiful. :wub:

without the long explanation - isitck30 with Dark Horse RDA .9 dual coil @ 30w -- istick20 with Orchid v2 1.8 dual coil @ 14w

think i also got a defective 30W, there is no button rattle, and between the 30W and 20W, the 30W actualy checks out authentic on eleaf :p

definatly a smoother output compared to the 20W, and it has downstep :p

option to flip the screen makes it alot nicer too.
