Oh, lest I forget, I did want to mention that I spent yesterday doing remodel prep*, but got back in the game today and finished up the machining on the caps, got them sealed up, checked for fit w/ the bodies. And it looks like tomorrow I'll be getting into some shaping.
* one element of our "scope of work" is that the shop desperately needs a new roof. It is leaking in multiple places. The good news on that is that I'm getting a metal roof (corrugated steel panels), and TWO skylights put in! I'na be sooooo in-touch with nature!

no, I was a good boy. Long sleeves, gloves, goggles, mask .. . and very gentle with the handling.
It wasn't so bad. I just got it done and was glad I didn't have to spend days or weeks doing it. Pro'ly worse was anticipating.
