We've been together since way back when...

You're still the one that makes me strong
Still the one I want to take along
We're still having fun, and you're still the one, yes you are

You're still the one who can scratch my itch
Still the one and I wouldn't switch
We're still having fun, and you're still the one

Sheer Beauty right there! (and still the daily driver, still going strong)

Kinda reminds me of my daily driver. So hard to put it down I've been procrastinating on sending it back to the Bee for a new top finish.

I humbly appreciate and thank the great wood whisperer for his patience in this manner. It's hard to let it go for even a little while. Having 3 GIGAPunch in rotation makes it so none of them gets too hot while I'm imitating a cloud machine at a rock concert! :vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor:

Some custom high end mods come and go. FDA killed a few. Some folks find some they like better... for a time... and then come back to one of the greats of all ecig history. (As far as I'm concerned)
But trust me, like Rossum's favorite, This mod has been everywhere with me, every day, through thousands of chain vaping sessions, and it never leaves my side... usually in my hand.

Every single time I hit that button, "It Hits Like A Train"!!! Corny expression maybe, but I can count on clouds every time I hit the switch. (even after 2 weeks without cleaning)

Of course I'm talking about some of the most exquisite mods ever made, with the subdued sleeper brand name, "dibi". (possibly not official but not disputed when mentioned) So far... and I've been around a while and drained a few bank accounts, the greatest hand made custom mechanical mods of all time. I honestly don't think I'm overstating that "fact".

Oh karp, I have to go pretend like I'm working or something.

Thanks again Peter. :)

And thanks again Rossum for the awesome pic. :)

them types of posts really do make my day. thank you, Uwe & X-py. :)

. . . the only reason they weren't officially named "dibi" from the get-go was because ECF rules wouldn't allow for my product to be relatable to my username.
go figure  (but, in my mind, that's the genuine name)

. . .

Did a different kind of modding this weekend:
My wife grew up in New York, and she can sometimes be heard to lament that you can't get a good bagel out here (in Seattle).
So, after almost 25 years of marriage, I've finally decided to take on the challenge.
Her "christmas present" this year will be me having *mastered* bagels to the way she likes them.
I don't know how many iterations (baking weekends) it'll take; but I aim to have it nailed by christmas; and then I can keep her supplied w/ good bagels for the next 25.

So, this weekend was the first dozen bagels; and they actually weren't too far off from the mark. I know exactly what to tweak for the next attempt.
(step one had been, of course, culling the options on which recipe to use as a starting point)

I've been procrastinating on sending it back to the Bee for a new top finish.
That's why the bare-nekkid (oil finish) walnut one is my daily driver -- not much finish to worry about.

She's been dropped (usually by falling out of my shirt pocket) more times than I care to admit. She has clearly has character marks. But she works as good as new. All parts are original except for the nut and washers on the bottom end of the 510, where I prefer s/s over brass. The magnets don't always stay put as they should, but this is not critical on a pinch.
