Hey Leonard. Not as a slam dunk, no. Let me think about how to make it happen tho . . . . take some measurements, do a little brainstorming, and figure out what kind of tooling it might require ( pretty sure I'd have to take a step up in machining equipment).

Of course, I can replace with a fresh one of that same/existing variety.

Apologies for my obvious lack of BeeSP

So, on the OliveR-Sumpin' 510 retrofit thing.

I been thinking about it, and I sought some tooling advice from Corey. I'm at the point where it seems possible. I would need to buy some tools and I would then take the imaginative to the real with good ol' #0001. This would help me to find any shortcomings in my thinking, and make sure all those little un-thought-of deets come into alignment w/ no surprises.

However, my initial source of inspiration and I were talking it through, and he's decided that a simple internals rebuild on the existing 510 is what's appropriate.

So . .. . there it shall hang. Mostly, I just wanted to say, "probably not impossible", probably quite doable. It's not something I need for the vigor of my soul; so it's not like I'm actively looking for volunteers. But . .. . there it is for you then.

Also, I think we're lookin' at some "first coat of finish" pics tomorrow .. . if all goes well between now and then. (not early . .. later in the day).
