My first turbo coil kinda turned out like a rainbow over the positive post as I spaced the wraps far. I've got 3 strands of thin rXw so 6 tails sufficiently slurps up the juice on the wide open deck. Thanks for sharing this technique, I think it's going to be a regular from now on.

So I'm on the bubble...4 positions out. So you're saying there's a chance?!? Fingers crossed.

the separation on the list is just to clarify certainty of SS atomizer over cobbled. It's just a illustrative line describing where I stop making promises about stock-on-hand and materials selection. So, it's all one big list and everyone on it is just plain old on it. (But as far as SS atty distribution goes, I'm starting at the top and working my way down. In any other sense, just one big ol' list.)

A clean Nuppin' is a happy Nuppin'.

I found out that I have to clean, dry-burn and rewick my Nuppin' more often than is the case with my other atties.

Anybody has a similar experience?

Yes but only because I use them more.

I can't say that the Nuppin requires any more "attention" than any other BF atty I own. In fact considering the use and abuse I subject them to I must say they hold up like champs.

Gunking up frequently is something related to the type of juice you use Tamer and not so much the atty. I don't really dry burn often, I like changing my coils about every 7-10 days

I haven't found that.
If anything, I've noted a kind of "second wind" - maybe you need to "vape through it" and see?
Seriously - I've had setups that tasted funky for a minute but it wasn't a good time to clean and rewick. Then, without explanation, the thing would hit stride - and run yummy for like 2 more weeks. And I use cotton, and love the taste of "fresh" cotton. So THAT'S kind of weird.

How DID you wick it?
A Nuppin is a tiny little thing, and it's OK to go LIGHT on wick, and just squonk every hit or two...that's what I do.

Actually it could be that I'm oversensitive to brass (my Nuppin' is brass, and I use a brass DT that Tami was nice enough to include in the package). I am aware that juice is normally the prime suspect, but I use the same juice with other atties. It could be that this atty is a flavor machine and hence reveals subtle differences or changes in flavor before other atties.

Regarding wicking, I normally use Scottish roll cotton wicks and they are great in terms of flavor and absorption capacity and serve to restrict the airflow in the nuppin' to perfectly suit my vape when I have both air holes wide open.

In any case I don't mind a bit of extra work in dry burning and rewicking to get my perfect vape. Instead of doing this once a week I just do it once every two or three days.
