Actually it could be that I'm oversensitive to brass (my Nuppin' is brass, and I use a brass DT that Tami was nice enough to include in the package). I am aware that
juice is normally the prime suspect, but I use the same
juice with other atties. It could be that this atty is a flavor machine and hence reveals subtle differences or changes in flavor before other atties.
Regarding wicking, I normally use Scottish roll cotton wicks and they are great in terms of flavor and absorption capacity and serve to restrict the airflow in the nuppin' to perfectly suit my
vape when I have both air holes wide open.
In any case I don't mind a bit of extra work in dry burning and rewicking to get my perfect vape. Instead of doing this once a week I just do it once every two or three days.
