oh. :?: I hadn't heard about that. must've been while I was away. :|

Indeed, sir, that is dead man's cove @ cape disappointment. beautiful there.

Used to be a rock island there in the center with a couple of Charlie Brown pines sprouted from the top, but I believe it/ they were taken out by a severe storm some years ago. Spent a few summers there and at Cannon Beach Oregon as a lad. A majestic place for sure.

Nuppin' v3 list? Well yeah, it was brought up kind of half jokingly serious, not really, kinda sorta...;)

But seriously, I'd be down for a couple'a more...:) No pressure of course.

the rock islandette is still there. I think it just blends into the left-side cliff there in the photo.

I was lost... But now I'm found... I think...

Where am I again?
El Pincho's! Little Mexican restaurant with a cinco de mayo theme. If you see the guy with guacamole in in mustache, that's the owner. Makes a mean fajita though. Don't drink the water!

interesting . . . . :?:

(no. not that↑ sock'n'chicken tripe . . . . ↓this)

So, at the risk of stating the obvious, because it is obvious, but then sometimes we (I) think in terms of numeric values and not in terms of . . . .. . of . . .. . "duh".

So last night's .16Ω coil eats batteries for a light snack. I didn't pay superclose attention; but I was basically done with a(n) (HB6) battery in a few hours VS almost all day. The vape was quite good, very good . . . and rather . . .. "fullsome". It felt tho like it was too cumbersome and of course ate the battery too fast. So, I redoubled my efforts for something closer to the .18Ω I was originally shooting for and came up with a handsome little build configuration in the process. (all this to basically take 1/4 wrap off the coils and shorten the legs a wee bit) I'm liking it, and I imagine it's a stout enough vape while still allowing for a reasonable runtime on the mAh.

The obvious part? Well, just that I'm approaching almost the same # for coilmath; but with different gauges. If I were to get to .18Ω with the 22g, I'd be looking at a serious behemoth, and the battery would probably drain before I even inserted it in the mod. :|

Comparison:

Conclusion: I needs to get me some 23g Kanthal. :thumb:

Hey! I have a shirt just like that!

only it's completely different.

always nearing, my man Gig, always nearing. Good to know you're "set to go" w/ materials and options. If I have another slew of dropper-outers and rip-van-winkles, I'll need to do the "last-second reach" (↓) for first/next person who needs Ø days to hit the ground running.

sometimes I spend so much time trying to gather up 10 people: get some up to speed, ping emails, 'splainin' what all's been going on over the past year, year'n'a half, that I run out of time before I need to start cutting wood. And I look down the list and see a bunch more people up next who I haven't heard from since the day I put their name on the list . . . . and I just have to keep scanning down the list until I see someone who is "ducks-in-row" and "ready-to-ro' " .. . . because my fangers gotta make the wood chips fly.
if'n it makes things easier, I'll send my wood and cash now.

Hint: I'm ready at the drop of a dime if'n the need arises to keep things moving along for all these fine folks.

PS; I know, I know. Sheesh...
