What kinda wood is the one on the right?

I must say, I'm excited to see them with some finish on them too. (although, that does mean I have to part with them all the sooner.)
I do want to wait for more pics until I've got a bit of finish on them, and that (the application of spinach*) will begin sometime tomorrow, I'm hoping. I've got 2 more bodies to magnify this evening, and then that's done. So, I'll def. be into final flushing and detail (hand) sanding tomorrow, and that's right about when the CA starts demanding introductions.

I found myself thinking today: if I ever get to where I can't make these for other people, first thing I'm gonna do is make a bunch more for myself!

my daughter and both GB were supossed to come out this week to visit.we sent them money for plane rides here and back but they had been runnin short on money cuz my SIL didnt get paid for turkey day,christmas or new years.so living out there with zillion dollar rent to pay.the wife and i told her to just use the money to pay bills.no way could she enjoy visiting knowing when she got home the bills were still not paid.i never got that kind of help from my dad so made me feel good to help them out annnnd she didnt wanna take it til i made her!i miss the munchkins for sure!!-Rick
