It was fun, and quite different from the others being made.
But the thing I like about buying a custom mod is working with the modmaker to come up with something new and experiment in new directions. Whether it comes out the best or kind of meh...its the process I love the most! :)
The process is what makes it special to me*

Kinda new here...not really but....... does the bottom hold up well or get scratched all to heavens? I am shopping for wood blocks now. So, I guess, as element77 puts it....thus starts my journey!
The finish Peter uses holds up extremely well and is real hard

The spalted I've had about a year now and the madrone just over a month or so and they both look pretty much like the day I got them. They have both been set down on multiple surfaces, including coquina.

I once had ONE made with the same type of plywood back when times were better. Your choice is much nicer.

That one still looks pretty sweet to me Gil,
But thank you for the compliment, rainbow stripped Unicorn pajama pants is in @rangerrobin loving hands now:)
I'm shopping for a fresh custom project:D

Thanks but right after getting it bad things started to happen but so is life like that. I'm hoping for a better good luck charm soon that will turn everything around. :)

Yeah I hear that loud and clear, Gil
I do wish you well and good health, or at the least, manageable health. Enjoy your upcoming pinch, you've had many mods I've dreamed of, I expect your pinch will not fall short.
