Well I personally call my wood........ Magic Johnson.
Here's Mark's blurb:
California Buckeye (Aesculus californica) is a type of wild Horse Chestnut that grows in California and southern Oregon. Trees will sometimes form large burls just at ground level and below the surface throughout the roots. The wood is an off white color but will develop areas with blue, gray and black coloring. This is caused by a fungus that inhabits the wood as it is drying.
Can't wait to see this one first hand. It really looks stunning!
