that is a Mundy's-got-the-CLAPton coil. which probably already exists (does . . I think X-py pegged it as something); but I made it up trying to use the Mundy concept with a core.

Apart from all your great comments about the fine wood samples in this run I gotta say that what truly blows me away every single time I see finished Pinches is the level of finish work Peter does. flawless is simply an understatement and frankly Pete I really don't know how you do it sir but you have this down to a science.

Any old Joe can shape and create a wood mod but to achieve this kind of detailed flawless finish takes a true master and I'm not blowing smoke up your azz. I mean it, I'm just so impressed every time, I have no words to describe how friggin' good your finishing work is.
Hat off to you Pete, I've been around for a while and know no other mod maker who comes even close to your skills.
