Thank you sweetie! We were not personally effected however I have friends in the area with grandkids that age so it was a long day til we could get a hold of them and make sure everything was okay.Hey. How are you all?

It's becoming a smaller and smaller world every day and becoming really important that we try to always treat each other right, no matter our differences <3
Makes me wonder what these kids have been through to act out in this particular way. That's a whole lot of hate and disregard.
The kid turned himself in, which is good. They can learn a lot from these animals through interviews etc to help in future cases when they don't kill themselves
True and it is my understanding he comes out of one of the worst trailer parks in Santa Fe. I drive over there every week to get milk and I've seen some dwellings that are frankly beyond my comprehension. I wouldn't put my dog in there. But, new cars parked out front.
PS, my understanding is that he was planning on killing himself "and just couldn't do it"

Sorry about the bad news in Texas Tami...my thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families. I guess you guys need to seriously reconsider the right to bear arms.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. I think we need to reconsider raising kids that think the whole world owes them instead of instilling personal responsibility for choices they make.

It seems you’re having a problem on this front these days. Seems to me there is a recurrence of these incidents unfortunately. And until you manage to instill these values, something needs to be done. Don’t make it easier for kids to have access to guns.

As far as reconsidering the right to bear arms Tami is right, it’s not a gun issue, it’s a people issue and a culture issue.

Not that i chirp in much, but in any event the issue is angry young men (as we all were - only later do we just get grumpy and grey; some of us in our 20's) and that's the way life is. However, if we required those people that do own guns to store them safely away from these adolescents that might be an idea.
Last week i tried my hardest and managed to get a traffic ticket for 'failure to yield right of way' and it didn't go well. "Hello - i'm officer Green", "sure you are and i'm Captain Scarlet".
The sign said 'yield' not give up and HRH, who was in the car with me at the time was disgusted as i merged seamlessly into the traffic and only half a mile later did we notice the road seemed pretty clear on account of blue flashing lights following me. Naturally, i had moved the mirror to stop that annoying me.
Got 22 mpg!
